I use this camera outside, primarily to watch the small pool we have. I am not tech savvy, but found the pairing with my phone easy as pie, and the app easy to use. I do not use the iCloud service, but use a san disk, which has worked for my purposes. The battery does not drain quickly, even in the winter. I have had it over a year and have charged it three times. The picture is clear and in color and you can change the range of the motion and the type of motion you want it to record. It is easy to attach and detach from the holder. I feel it was a good value for a great camera.

I have a camera already and works in great condition, I did buy this second one for my balcony to oversee the cars but sadly it did not work but I contacted customer service and they have been helping me effectively!! I am overall satisfied with their help and how their cameras work my first one is still amazing and hoping to get my second one, the battery is really good just have to charge so it has good battery life, it’s easy to setup

These are some that would have saved me a lot of money and time if I knew them before buying this camera:- Virtavo devices will show up on your WIFI network under the name "Chinese Dragon Technology Limited", which may scare and/or confuse people if they are unaware of this fact, especially because I could not find any link between the two companies online.- If the WIFI signal to the camera is weak, you may still be able to see a live video feed through the APP, but you will not receive notification's to your phone, even if you have them set up. I have replicated this problem across two camera's and have actually been screwed by this a few times now as my teen has snook people in through her bedroom window and I did not get notified. DO NOT make the assumption that just because you can see the live feed, the wifi signal must be good enough. Test the notifications yourself by going and standing in view of the camera.- The WIFI signal strength meter for each camera in the APP basically always says strong and is not trustworthy in any way.- If your camera has a weak WIFI signal and you aren't getting notifications, a $10-$15 WIFI signal booster that you can plug into any outlet in your home should resolve this issue. I would have purchased one along with my camera order if I had known what I know now.- There is not a way to monitor the live feed on your PC, you can only view the live feed through your phone. I work from home in front of my PC all day, so it would be great if I could see the live feed on my computer.. and had I known that it is limited to your phone before hand, I would have chosen a different brand or different camera model.How to get the most battery efficiency with security notifications:- If you set the notification frequency to every 60 seconds, and set it to only notify when people are in the frame, it works very very well and the battery will last like 1.5-2 months on each camera.- If you set it up to notify you of every little thing, you will get a notification for every tiny flying gnat, pet, or car that passes in view of the camera and the battery will only last about a week.- The Ai detection works great

The seller is very responsive. I've ordered 2 of these and had an issue with one. We did trouble shoot it and couldn't resolve the issue, so the seller replaced it! Functionality: I've had several outdoor cameras and this one is the absolute best for night vision. No contest! Rather I have my lights on at night or not, the camera offers a clear visual. The battery holds a charge for over 90 days, and I check these cameras frequently. The app is easy to use. It offers the ability to record video or a screenshot. I did not use the mount that comes with it, instead I used a elastic band for easy access as I move my cameras around often. I highly recommend this camera.

I've purchased 5 if these cameras. Four work fairly well, the 5th one died after 2 months. I contacted the company through the app and tried to explain my issue. All I got was a run around and then they disappeared completely.If these were really outstanding cameras, and they are not, then I'd bite the bullet and purchase another one. But, they are just fair, very slow to respond, and the company tries to up sell you extra services.This is very disappointing.

I've only had it for a couple weeks. Early impressions: Connecting to the camera is very slow (and videos load even more slowly) - even with strong WiFi and a good bandwidth internet connection. Guessing it is their servers. Movement detection is not great. Sometimes does not generate notifications for clear movement right in front of the camera. Picture quality is good. Motion zone is a cool feature but I'm not sure that it works. Notifications don't even include a picture unless you subscribe to the cloud service.

Excellent! - Don't keep the viewing screen on at all times as (of course) that runs down the battery quicker...let the "movement" alerts / notifications direct you here from you phone. - With that, very satisfied!!!
