Very good glove, I ordered the 12 OZ yellow glove. They collect a bit of dirt from the heavy bags but its no big deal (quick wipe down solves the issue). Stitching is perfect and so is inner liner perhaps the best I have seen on a glove. The thumb is comfortable and the glove gives a good natural fist. The strike area is flat and as a result makes a good whip sound on the heavy bag from a good fast punch. The padding on the knuckles is dense and very thick and gives good protection for knuckles there is enough space inside the glove for long hand wraps to add extra knuckle protection if needed. These gloves are not suitable for sparring though, so you may need a second pair for sparing if your gym doesn't provide you sparring gloves. You can't really go wrong with these, the wrist protection is very good in comparison to other boxing gloves I have used despite it being a velcro glove. Really these are very similar to my Cleto Reyes gloves just more than half the price cheaper and IMO better quality and finish. Only negative is they don't smell as good as Reyes gloves, they have a slightly poo like smell inside but it wore off after a few weeks of use. If your looking for leather boxing gloves for and excellent price these are honestly the best I have found so far. I would buy again in future.

This is an update to an earlier 4 star review of this product. As you can see I've changed it to 5 stars and I'll explain why. I've now had my BGV9s for over a year and they are virtually as new. I've been using them twice a week during this time, both for technical drills and bagwork. I'm by now means a big lad, but I'm of average height and build with a intermediate level of skill so I would say I can whack a bit. There's no reason to believe they won't last me another year by the look of them. Apart from durabilty and longevity, the functionality is superb. They're way too big for me (I should have gone for 12oz in retrospect), but the wrist support is brilliant, they've all but cured me of wrist problems I used to have owing to lesser gloves. The padding is hard as hell at first, but once they break in a bit they strike just the right balance between shock absorbtion and pop on the bag for me. You won't find a better bag glove for the price in my opinion.

Ordered exactly this brand as my partner had exactly the same before. First pair he has over three years already, ordered this one as a spare to swap between trainings. He is very happy with material and quality. Good weight and hands not getting tired. You can easily wash them in a bag in a washing machine on a low degree, they not loosing shape and not getting cracked. For 100kg and 188cm he took size 16 what fits him perfectly. Thank you

Fairtex from Thailand is the best manufacturer for kickboxers, especially Muay Thai practitioners. The gloves are comfortable, and protect your hands really well. You can easily get used to them. The leather is good quality, the stitching is good, and the craftsmanship is impeccable. It also looks really good. 10/10.

Obviously more expensive than others but it gives more movement and protection -you paying for quality-thats what you get -son loves them

Good investment if you love boxing and want quality made gloves for a decent price

Good delivery time. High quality albeit quite stiff gloves initially. Been training in them for about a month and my hand still stings after hard punches so these do take a while to break in. Very solid with excellent wrist support though. Ideal for Muay Thai but some boxers / K1 kickboxers may lament the lack of a grip bar.

Il frappe tous les jours et très très fort ! Fairtex c'est le Mercedes du gant ! C'est du vrai cuir et choisi dans le top ! Le prix le vaut largement!

These gloves are very well made. For the price I don't think you can find better. They remind me of Cleto Reyes. Very nice would definitely recommend.
