These do the trick and work on both floor surfaces (hard and carpeted), but they aren't the slippiest on hard floors. The slight friction might be good for more controlled movements but I found it causing my feet to slip off so I had to go barefoot -- the plastic side has virtually no grip to keep bare or trainered feet on. It would still slide very well on carpet if it had a few grooves in to grip feet when used other way up on hard floor.I prefer a much smoother glide, though I don't know if it's possible on hard floor versions. Both my carpet versions by other brands (XR slides and Gliding discs) slide really smoothly and don't slip off my feet.The friction/slight resistance makes it take up more energy to do moves, mostly with paying extra attention to not falling off the discs, or else taking a a bit too long to complete a move, which takes enjoyment out of my workout.

I find these to small and not glidable I have Beachbody slides and they are much larger and your feet don’t slip on them they are slightly raised at the edges I suppose it’s personal preference Note Bb slide cost 3 times more

After seeing my PT using them at the gym, I decided to get them to use at home.Very simple device but they do so much.They do come with a booklet of instructions and exercises.
