I Absolutely Love This Monitor!
I absolutely love this monitor. The design is fantastic, and I especially love that it looks bezel-less but still has borders around the screen. Personally, I don't like thin-frame monitors or TVs, so this design really stands out to me. Another thing I love is the thickness of the monitor. It feels sturdy and well-built without being too bulky. It strikes a great balance between sleekness and durability, which adds to the overall aesthetic and functionality. The base design is another highlight. Instead of the typical monitor setup, the way the base attaches to the bottom of this monitor is unique, and that’s what really caught my eye. It gives the monitor a sleek and modern look while still being functional. I absolutely love how it's put together. I also love the screen share feature, which offers different options for connecting various devices. Whether using Miracast or other wireless streaming methods, it’s convenient to switch between devices without needing cables. This is a big plus for me, as it makes the monitor versatile and easy to use across all my gadgets. As for suggestions, maybe for the next model, it would be nice to have different color options or a base that doesn’t require screwing it in. But honestly, that's a minor thing. Overall, I absolutely love this monitor and have no complaints. It’s just a fantastic piece of tech! LG, please keep making models like this or similar models in the future—that’s a big thumbs up to LG!

Could be a nice monitor if it worked
A bit of a dog. Needed at 4K monitor that could double as a presentation screen for videos. Smart TV just made it more useful.... Arrived okay and on time, but remote was dead. Got it set up to use phone for three weeks while I waited for new one. New one works, but TV drops connection with it after an hour or so. Have to reboot TV--TWICE--to make it recognize it again. Still using phone for remote. At seven weeks the first band of backlights went out, leaving a dark vertical stripe top to bottom on the screen. A few days later a second band went out. Called LG. Only option they gave me was to package the whole thing back up, ship to them for 6-8 weeks, and wait for a repair. This seems like a pretty cheap response to a TV that has demonstrated it is broken in more ways than one. Hoping Amazon will offer me a better option. When it worked, it worked nicely, and screen was sharp and well lit. Good picture quality, even at desktiop viewing distance. WebOS is a serious dog and is slower than a 1980's 286 computer, but hooking up an AppleTV fixed that. Just too bad it can't actually do the one job it had.

Pleasing Form and Great Function on this LG Monitor
I adore this monitor. It has a compact form to fit snugly on my desk, with a limited footprint, so it doesn't take up space with an unwieldy stand. It has a nice built-in speaker that also reduces the need for external speakers in limited space, but the best thing about it is the picture quality. It's very clear and sharp, no fuzzy edges and the blacks are rich while viewing shows or movies on it. It serves primarily as a work monitor in my garage studio, but also functions as an entertainment system for leisure time, using the wi-fi connected smart tv function. So I can take a break from working and enjoy Netflix, Prime or one of the other apps that can be installed on it. Overall, I'm very pleased with this LG.

Everything is white
Nice clean design. Definitely not a monitor, but a small smart TV with matte screen. WebOS isn’t terrible - still laggy. But don’t have to deal with a virtual cursor, but just arrows to navigate. Most if the major apps exist rather than having to AirPlay which was a nice surprise.

Excellent purchase
This was a perfect fit for my space...I wanted a 32 inch monitor but due to shelving firmly installed above, I was limited in the height. This monitor sitting as it does on its base was perfect, and I have other LG TVs in the house, and I was familiar with the interface. I have read a few critiques from others which I think are not valid: someone wrote that when you switch this monitor on it always goes to the LG Home Screen and not the computer (most likely HDMI) feed. That is a setting on the monitor...it does default to "Home" which is the LG screen but you can set it to "last Input" and your TV HDMI link will be there if that indeed was your last input chosen. There is Ethernet and WiFI both, and I have used to-date only the Ethernet connection. I have set the time out on the monitor longer (in the Win10 power area) and set the screen saver shorter with the idea of keeping the monitor's screen in good condition. Unlike the TVs, the LG monitor asks if I want Filmmaker Mode when I use Prime, Netflix, and I chose No, and finally Don't Ask me Anymore. I find that is too dark for my desktop area. I am sure for those people absolutely consumed by how black the pixels are or how fast the swords move in a battle, that this may not be the best choice, but if you are so into those details buy an actual LG TV, not this monitor. And those things seem fine to me when I look at them on my monitor anyway. Someone also complained that if you have a remote (or magic remote) for another LG tv in the same room, commands operated by a remote onto the TV affect this monitor. I have never found that to be the case, and in fact our living room LG magic remote won't work on the Family Room LG TV...I think they are each "recognised" as linked to one TV at a time. My monitor and LG TV are about 10 feet apart---no problem. For now, I have speakers plugged into my computer which means when I use Prime, e.g., on the monitor I rely on the LG speakers. This of course could be bettered with speakers directly attached (optic link probably) which I may do at some point. I can see in Win 10 I could re-route the computer's sound to the monitor's speakers, then on the LG tell it to use the external speakers only that I would eventually install, so don't foresee a problem. In short, I love the extra space on the screen and am very happy with this purchase overall. p.s. the USB-C connector in the back does allow for charging your iPhone/devices !

VOLUME IS JUST NOT THAT GREAT!!!
Nice Smart Monitor picture-wise, but the volume just does not get loud enough. If the speakers were of better quality, I would have had no problem giving it a 5 Star rating.
