👍👍 Best Value IF You Love White Pepper Taste👍👍
In Western cooking, black pepper powers or seeds are used more than Asian cookings, where most recipes would call for the uses of white peppers, whether in powder forms (for soups and general seasonings), or in making soup broths (as in Vietnamese Pho Broths - one'd toast the white peppercorn seeds along with others spices Bay Leafs, fingers, etc and place in a pouch). My local Sprouts store used to carry white pepper powder, after COVID, they've stopped selling it altogether - powder or seeds. Bummer 🙄🙄 Yes, I can still get at my Asian grocery stores, but if you use it as much as as often as I do - it CAN get expensive🤐🤐Well, that's why I was pleasantly surprised to have found these 2 packs (18 oz each), the math works out to be about 50% discount than buying individual 2-oz white pepper bottle. All is required is a spice grinder - like coffee beans, the flavors are way more intense when grounded just before using. I just grind some and use a tiny funnel to REFILL these empty spice bottles. Not only super- flavorful, but done so very economically.

Good value for rainbow peppercorns that are hard to find locally
Quality peppercorns in a nice, resealable package to keep product fresh. Better/Larger size than at local retail at a better price. Has a great taste. Very happy with purchase, and can definately recommend.

Not quite the deluxe blend I was hoping for, but it's still pretty good
THE NOT SO GOOD- Have you ever purchased a can of mixed nuts? A lot of the times if they are "deluxe" those mixed nuts will state in big, bold font, "Less Than 50% Peanuts". And why would they do that? Well, nuts are a relatively cheap nut when compared to all the other nuts in the can and so no one wants to simply buy an expensive can of mixed nuts only to find that they are actually just peanuts with a handful of cashews, pecans, and walnuts sprinkled in. Which leads me to the point I want to raise with these peppercorns... As you can see from the second picture posted, probably 60% of the peppercorns in the bag I received were black peppercorns. "Black peppers" are listed first in the ingredient list so that's what I was kind of expecting, but at the same time, some of the product pictures show what looks like a much higher ratio of pink peppercorns in that blend as well. While black peppercorns taste great, I'm sure you (like me) wanted to pick up this bag because of the aesthetic appeal and taste offered by the pink, green, white, and ripe peppercorns. Additionally, black peppercorns are relatively inexpensive compared to other varieties and so this is what makes them a lot like peanuts in a deluxe nut mix (i.e., "filler").THE GOOD- Outside of the things I shared above, I really do like these peppercorns. The flavor is wonderful and the white, ripe, green, and pink peppercorns really add unique flavors to the overall profile of this blend. As someone who doesn't have a great sense of smell or taste, I could certainly tell the difference between this blend and plain, black peppercorns.- I received exactly the 12oz I ordered, no less.- The shelf life of the product is 24 months and the one I received had an expiration date of around 15 months from the date of receipt, which should be plenty of time to go through the bag.- I could not see/find any foreign materials like pebbles, twigs, or dirt in the blend I received. QA seems to be quite good.- The price of this blend is super competitive, even if the blend itself appears to be ~60% black peppercorns.SUMMARY- So then, will I buy these peppercorns again? Yes - I will definitely be purchasing these peppercorns once I go through my current back. However next time, I'll make sure I have more realistic expectations as to the contents of the bag I received.

Great taste
What a difference using fresh pepper makes. We had the old pepper for a long time. That’s what happens when you buy in bulk from one of the wholesalers. We were almost done with the old one and replaced it with this. Wow, that’s all I can say. The aroma was strong. The taste was so much better than the old one. And it’s a nice color so it looks good in the grinder. This is definitely a case where buying fresh and often is better than wholesale.

Hard to find a bag of white peppercorns at the market
I actually prefer white pepper over black pepper while seasoning a lot of my food. I don't mind using black pepper (especially on steak), but it does kind of ruin the presentation of food if you decide that you want a lot of it.Normally I get my white pepper preground, but this time I wanted to try milling my own white pepper. tastes like white pepper to me, and it grinds pretty well.

Great Vaule
White pepper is hard to find and often very expensive. This is a great product, and good price. White pepper has more pepper flavor, and less heat than black pepper. Is good and a lot of dishes, including eggs. If you haven't tried it, you might be surprised at the difference. I use both, depending on what I want as an outcome.
