Surprising and helpful
This actually surprised me. Had a PSU I needed to test and couldn't believe this was on offer from Thermaltake no less. And at a very reasonable price. The readouts have been accurate and the fact that it includes full ATX 3.0 functionality with a 12VHPWR port is big win for this. Overall exceeding all expectations and well worth the price.

Excellent power supply tester with latest compatability
Instead of risking my computer with an old Corsair AX750 that had been collecting dust and spider webs for five years, I decided to invest in a Thermaltake Dr. Power III. And boy, am I glad I did!It failed the PG test spectacularly - displaying an “F,” the backlight turned red, PG kept flashing, and beeping loudly.Next, I used the Dr. Power III to test a brand new FSP Hydro PTM X Pro 1200W ATX 3.0 PSU. I plugged in everything: CPU, PCI-E, SATA, Molex, and even the 12VHPWR. They all tested good! The Dr. Power III uses the ATX 24-pin as its power source and displays all connections and their respective voltages on the screen. Testing is a breeze - just press the button to cycle through the tests or hold it for five seconds for auto-testing. During the tests do not disconnect or turn off the PSU as it can cause damage. The build quality of the Thermaltake Dr. Power III is superior to those cheap PSU testers. It’s lightweight and capable of testing the latest ATX 3.1 PSUs. However, it does feel a bit cheap due to its plastic construction and is more expensive.Despite that, I highly recommend the Thermaltake Dr. Power III if you have an ATX 3.0 or higher PSU and/or have multiple PSUs to test. It’s a reliable and efficient tool that makes PSU testing straightforward and hassle-free.

Doesn't get simpler -- huge improvement over cheaper models
I had a cheaper tester that looked like something out of the 60s. It would tell you about your power rails, but it required a book to understand. This thing is clear as a bell. As you can see in the pictures, you can clearly make out power levels for the 5V, 12V, 3.3V, 5VSB, and PG. The book for the tester also lists the appropriate ranges for a PSU, so you can quickly tell if your power supply is good or not.Worth every penny.

Must have tool for pc techs
Quality when it’s needed. I had a bad psu and replaced it. PC still didn’t power on. I had one of those cheap testers and confirmed the old one was bad but the new one showed to be working. Tried an old psu i hade lying around and pc powers up. So on a gut feeling i bought this tester. Plugged in the new psu and tested and found that it did work… until it was put under load then the 5v would fail. The cheap testers didn’t have the ability to test this.If you are a computer tech or just build them for fun this is a must for your toolbox. Save a lot of time and headaches.

Works as expected
Device works to test all power supplies. The unit has poor instructions and you can only test POWER WATAGE for Video Card power lines. But it works.

Works good at a reasonable price
Bought this to replace my last tester I lost from Rosewill. This one seems to have more features and is easy to read. The extra money seems to be worth it for the ease of use.

Great PSU Tester
Great upgrade and replacement for my antiquated PSU tester I purchased 10 years ago when starting my business. Immediately helped diagnose a string of faulty PSUs that came in back to back.
