Beautiful and fascinating
This facsimile is both a wonderful curiosity into the later artistic expressions of the former surrealist, and also a beautiful book/object in its own right.Everything from the dust jacket, to the texture and quality of the paper, contributes to the re-creation of Artaud's drawings, markings and writings, with the majority of the pages (Artaud predominantly used school exercise books at this stage of his life) reproduced here in life-size.This really does create the sensation of proximity with the drawings, with the most miniscule details and strokes laid bare before us, giving the impression of an intimate engagement with the works.Highly recommended for anyone interested in Artaud.

The author might be damaged, but this book doesn't need to be
Book is all I expected. It's not the quality of the contents that is in doubt, but because of its size it was poorly packed and the dust wrapper was torn and bent, to the degree that I cannot give this particular copy as a present.

very interesting
I bought this as a present for a theatre student. Of course i ended up reading it myself before i gave it to her. I found it very interesting and she adores it.
