Disappointing and Short
Bought this and another one as a follow-on to the series. While advertised as 100 pages, it is actually only 58 pages of content, and some of those pages are blank. After the main "story" part of the book, there is other "discussion" that doesn't really do much for the story. Unfortunately, it looks like the other one I purchased may have the same issue.Don't bother with this. It appears to be just a money grab.

An Insult to Jack Reacher and Fans
I am guessing Lee Child sold the rights for the Reacher series to Diane Capri. I believe he could have found a far better writer. She has no concept of character development or story line consistency. Her female FBI agent and her male partner are an insult to all the agents I have ever met.In particular, how many times do several pages need to be written about the agent's antacid problem or her fear of flying? In the Child's Reacher series, Jack left the service after thirteen years with separation pay and after a period of time had to take on odd jobs to get by. Suddenly, according to Capri Jack has a monthly retirement pension slightly over $1,000.I will use this review for the other poorly written books in this series. I am alvoss05 at Yahoo.

A Good - If Quickie - Continuation into The Start
Right off the bat, two things to address.Number one: I am the world's number one Jack Reacher fan (I also love Richard Sharpe and a few other characters, but none more so than Reacher).Number two: I received this Kindle book free in exchange for an honest product review as part of an established Review program not associated with Amazon or any other e-book dealer. While really brief (putting it mildly), this was a good element to pursue the continuing development of the Hunt for Jack Reacher series.Note that it is NOT replacing the Jack Reacher series, though it is highly supported by Lee Childs. On the negative side, I'm not sure that I am a big fan yet of the two protagonists. They are FBI agents but seem to get overly fixated on a specific theory rather than constantly keeping all options open (I have, aside from military experience, a 29-year career in law enforcement so things like procedures, weapons, gun fighting techniques and tactics, combatives, crime procedures, reviewing evidence constantly, thinking out potentials, etcetera, are always at the forefront when reading things like this).Note: Book 2 was obtained through being part of the bundled Books 1 - 3.

slow story
I've read Jack Reacher short stories by Lee Childs that he puts at the end of his novels. I thought Capris work would be similar, like having a beginning middle and ending to the story. This story however starts out laying ground work and then forget the middle and end. It's like reading the first chapter of a twenty five chapter novel. Never went anywhere.

Hunt For Jack Reacher Series Thrillers Books 1-3 (Diane Capri's Licensed to Thrill Sets) the teaser and because i likedJack In A
i bought this twice! once in this short form teaser and sadly once again again as part of Licensed to Thrill 1: Hunt For Jack Reacher Series Thrillers Books 1-3 (Diane Capri's Licensed to Thrill Sets) the teaser and because i likedJack In A Box (The Hunt for Jack Reacher Series Book 2)This was like buying a book and only getting one chapter. I would not buy these again. (i've read all the reacher books and like them. capri seems lik a good writer. i will buy some more of her books- buttha that saidI felt like I got ripped off. Should have paid attention to the number of pages. I'll know better next time.

Good writer, good main characters, weak storyline
Third "Reacher" book I have read from this author. Her writing style is good, her main character developments are very good, but the story lines are getting weaker. Certain events or people that are addressed during the storylines of her books are left unexplained or forgotten by the end of the story. My opinion is that actual interaction with Jack Reacher would enhance these characters....or a storyline of their own regarding their adventures outside of looking for Reacher. Just my thoughts.

A very short story where nothing happens
$2.99 for a very short story where absolutely nothing happens. I bought the first book in this series and it wasn't great but had some potential. This is the second and last book in the series that I will buy. The characters become tiresome. If Otto pops one more antacid or cringes one more time anticipating a plane flight then I will scream. Meanwhile Gaspar continues to limp and have various pains while trying to reach retirement. I have had enough. This series is a loser.

Waste of time, waste of money even if it is free.
This isn't a book, I wouldn't even call it a novella. It's a short story whose main purpose seems to be to separate you from some $$. I enjoyed the first book, and bought the second thinking it might be a worthwhile series, but this short story sold as a book tells me I am wasting my time and my money.

Not Even A Short Story !
I paid double the cost of this 2nd book than I did the 1st book ! for what ? I have read short stories before, but this was a complete rip off and waste of time, not impressed, no story, complete nothing of a book, I would have been better off donating my hard earned cash to charity. This is a prime example of how to alienate potential readers, this should have been a free book 😡😡will not purchased any others by this author.

Don't bother with this book or series.
Couldn't wait to get to the end of this book, not because I enjoyed it, but because it's too boring and too fantastical to believe. To expect readers to believe some remote person can see and hear FBI operatives ANYWHERE! Even in random taxis is just unbelievable. It is just a novel but readers are not as gullible as that. I decided to give this the second of the series a chance, but I won't be reading any more of the series.

I was very disappointed with this book
I was very disappointed with this book. I wish I had noted the fact that it is only 100 pages long and therefore comes into the category of short story. Only ten chapters in which nothing (of any great significance) actually happens. The first book was a proper story which set you up nicely for the sequel (s) but I am afraid that I am not going to bother with book 3 or Diane Capri in the future. A waste of money.

Not even worth one star. Don't waste your money.
Having read the first book in the series I couldn't wait to read this one. I should have waited - for hell to freeze over! What an absolute waste of money. When I thought the story was about to begin the book ended. Probably the worst book I have paid for and I would have given it no stars if possible. The author has guaranteed that I won't be reading any more of her books.

One half of one half of a book. Maybe...
50 pages in the book, next 44 pages are pure promotion of the next book. As I ordered both books at the same time. Flicking through the next book it has the same. Half of the book is the actual story & the other half promotion of the next book.Feel a bit cheated after the first book was actually a real book that took more than an hour to read...

Short!
This is such a disappointing "book"! A lot is packed into the short space, but there is so much more potential than just the few pages here - it's probably overpriced for what it is, but having said that it's well written and surprisingly builds on the two main characters in such a short space. Some guy called Reacher appears in it too. I'd have happily paid more for a longer story as it adds to the Lee Child world in an authentic way.Short, much too short, but more please!

Waste of money
Such a shame as I thoroughly enjoyed the first book. I read this on a kindle and did not notice that it was only about 100 pages long. At 1.99 it was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent. There is no apparent story to it that I could detect, just a way for the author to make money. It put me off reading the 3rd book... Very disappointed.

It’s ok...
If you’re a Reacher fan, that’s plenty reason to press on but it lacks je ne sais quoi. Still worth a read...

Very enjoyable
I did enjoy this book but I do like almost all the Jack Reacher stories you really think your there along with what going on

Expensive follow up
I picked this up after reading the first in the "series" in a mixed box. While I enjoyed the story and thought the characters developed well, it is very short and I think expensive for what it is. I went on to buy the third book and was very disappointed that I was tempted into purchasing it.

Reacher?
Good light read but if you are looking for Reacher stories stick to the original, never been that impressed with short stories. The first full length book was better

not sure what I expected having read all of the ...
not sure what I expected having read all of the Jack Reacher books. it was a little tame. Maybe I need to read them in order to grasp what they're about

Short and dull
The story is short and there is hardly any substance to it. Most of it is character building, but the character building is not sufficient for the characters to seem particularly interesting. Nothing much happens. It would be futile to compare this to a Lee Child novel.
