Easy to use
Easy to use but I found it very time consuming each night. Tastes nice .

A good starter kit
A good base for starting making Kefir at home. I haven't used the water grains as I was given some milk ones and they worked a treat in the jar! If anything, it works too well! I can't keep up with the brewing!

Dissapointed
Very over priced, £25 FOR A JAR, A PIECE OF MUSLIN AND A FEW GRAINS. VERY DISSAPOINTED, LOOKS AND TASTES NOTHING LIKE KEFEER. CERTAINLY WOULD NOT RECOMEND

Effective for Glaucoma
I noticed an immediate improvement with my vision when I took it with B Vitamins. Probably as a result of lower glucose and insulin levels caused by this milk kefir.

Brilliant product. Kefir culture itself is very tasty, foolproof and can re recultured numerous times. Very happy

Not bad
This is ok as an intro to making Kefir and I found it encouraging because after 24 hours I had a litre of Kefir, but there are a few negatives:Sachets of Kefir contain similar levels of probiotics to yoghurt, as opposed to 10 times the amount as with Kefir grainsThe strainer in this kit is cheesecloth, which makes trying to salvage the Kefir powder for reuse challengingThe jar I got won't seal properly so can't really be used for storing the end productIf this kit was more expensive I would have marked it down further. The other thing to note is that making Kefir is very easy:The grains are easy to come byPut them in a jar(rest the lid on the top so gases can escape) with some milk and let it ferment for roughly 24 hours.Strain with a plastic sieve, keep the grains for your next batch and decant the fermented Kefir into a bottle or jar so it can be stored in the fridge. It's a nice intro to making Kefir but I've already bought a couple more jars, a plastic/nylon sieve and some Kefir grains. The only thing I'm still using is the jar that came with this kit. Also take a lot of what people say about making Kefir with a pinch of salt. If I can make it anyone can, I just wouldn't recommend using anything metal to produce it as it's debated whether the acidity in the Kefir leeches metal. Doesn't really seem worth worrying about when plastic and glass utensils are so prevalent.
