This small handmade crochet tea cosy fits a standard 2 cup teapot. (3/4 pint, 450ml ). It is in purple and blue fleck wool, with a cream stripe, and has a crochet flower on top. This is crochet with thick wool in an overlapping stitch, which makes it nice and thick and warm. The last picture shows the overlapping stitch from the inside. It will make a great gift for any tea-drinking member of the family, or friends, ... or just to decorate the teapot in the kitchen, dining area, or outside in the garden at a bar-b-q. Handmade by myself in Cornwall. Hand wash at 30c , dry flat. The teapot is for display purposes, and is not included. The teapot is 4.5" high (11.25cm) if measured with a ruler, if measured with a tape measure, from the table around to the top of the teapot, it is 5" (15cm) see pictures.
