Loved the features but I had to return my watch
Initally I really loved this watch. It had all the features I wanted and was easy to set up and fairly intuitive to use. The problem is that the GPS kept going wonky on me. When viewing my maps on Strava I could see where it thought I was often several hundred meters from where I actually was. Not only did this mess with the distance, but it thought I was running 2 minutes/mile to add this distance in. I followed all suggestion on their website and nothing helped. I returned the watch when I didn't get any response to my problem tickets after two weeks. Sadly, after the watch was returned, they finally got back to me. But that only was a canned response to submit log information in a new problem ticket.

Incredible Watch That Goes, and Goes, and Goes...
Bottom line up front: don't hesitate in buying this watch, you won't regret it. I've spent the last five weeks putting the COROS Vertix 2S through its paces. As a triathlete with a CrossFit problem, here's what keeps me coming back: 1. Five weeks on and I still have not yet needed to charge it! FIVE WEEKS. The watch is currently sitting at 12% (having arrived at something less than 100%, I can't remember the actual number). And this is with heavy use, running, walking, cycling, swimming, CrossFit, rowing, various multi-sports, etc. 2. It nails the basics. GPS is dead accurate, especially in Dual Frequency mode. On board optical HR is great. Pace, distance, etc. is always spot on. Native running power aligns very neatly with external sources. And, the MIP screen is so easy to read outdoors in sunlight (backlight or Night Mode are awesome tools in the dark). 3. It plays nicely with all my countless external sensors (yeah, I have too many). Anything with a BLE connection works just fine. Multiple heart rate monitors (though the COROS armband easily leads the pack), indoor smart cycling trainers, cycling power meters, speed/cadence sensors, Stryd running power meter, indoor rowers, wireless headphones, you name it! 4. This thing just looks gorgeous on your wrist. All the details are right. I have zero hesitation wearing this thing in a professional environment and then straight out into training. Sure, it's big. But it's remarkably light for the size. And, with that size you get ridiculous battery, more screen real estate (bigger numbers or more data fields, your choice), and an indestructible watch. Importantly, it's never felt too big, whether out and about or during activity. 5. I've used most all the big GPS watch brands at some point and COROS keeps me coming back because of their constant innovation with feature sets and their pattern of updating even old devices with new stuff. You can be sure the same Vertix 2S a year or two from now will have even more capabilities. 6. And, lastly, the COROS app and Training Hub are so much easier to use, navigate, and understand than their competition. More data is more readily available and all while providing excellent tools to help you train (structured workouts, training plans, data analysis, and so much more). Zero regrets on this purchase. I strongly recommend the COROS Vertix 2S to anyone who asks.

Not a Solid Choice (edited after update)
They keep doing updates but the updates keep making interactions with the watch especially during training complicated and frustrating. Strength tracking is terrible, i found a piece of paper is so much better than an $800 stopwatch. Battery life is decent but so are other brands now. Their gps used to be top notch but now after getting worse and worse with each update it takes forever to get a signal and a shady tree will cause loss of signal (i have tried the highest to the lowest setting). I'm admitting defeat and going with an actual established product from Garmin instead of being a guinea pig for a start up.

Great Device, Amazing Accuracy, Can't Beat The Battery Life
I've been a long time coros user, and was looking to upgrade from my original Vertix, really love the battery life, and I'm finding the new HR sensor to be very accurate. Likewise, the new updated GPS antenna seems to be dead on. I've used this for everything from family walks, to climbing trips, and run and bike workouts. The new health features, sleep tracking, HRV, and stress and also quite insightful. I love how I can trust coros to keep bringing new features to existing devises for years. Really happy with this!

Does not work with Samsung for training apps
I spent a lot of time looking g for best watch for mountaineering and training. I decided on the Coros vertix 2s and felt I made a pretty good decision. I was loving until......I had to sync it with Training Peaks on a Samsung fold for coaching. I went to every tech person I could find, worked with Coros tech which was painfully slow as it is all by email. Every tech person I spoke with said it was the Coroas app as it would sync with any other training app. I spent countless hours tweaking and re-tweaking my phone settings with same failure. When I wanted to return they said I had a 30 day return in original packaging and accessories. The packaging was long gone as I didn't foresee this problem with such a high end watch so I am having to eat cost of this watch and buying a Garmin which doesnt have this problem. I would caution anyone with a Samsung phone to check connectivity before tossing the packaging. No other problem except HR monitor not as accurate as a strap. But loved the watch and app until I realized it cant sync with training apps on my phone and if you do your research you will find this is a known issue for Coros watch and androids. Good luck.

Battery issue unsupported
Buyer beware. COROS does not stand behind their products, a vertix that developed battery issues. Unsupported once it’s out of warranty - Your money is better spent with a competitor.

I bought this to replace my garmin fenix 6. This watch is a lot bigger and heavier than my fenix. The colour was great! I had to return because it did not provide extra functionality and the app had less information than the garmin. So I had to return.

Un reloj que no se raya a precio asequible. Rapidísimo para buscar señal GPS. Totalmente personalizable. De los que he usado, es el que mejor controla el pulso. Muy fiable en navegación. Da sensación de robustez.
