They work like all good cotton swabs - I wanted the bamboo

I've been looking for sustainable options and the biggest hurdle is price followed by quality. After doing a lot of research, these q tips were the best option. I compared it to the branded ones that I used to buy and these are actually better quality than Q Tip branded ones. See side by side photo. They also don't feel flimsy at all and have better cotton wrapping.

I really feel that these bamboo style swabs are the best ones available on Amazon. I enjoy them so much that I have begun ordering them as a regular subscription item. The bamboo is extra sturdy and never breaks like some other brands have, in the past. A large amount of cotton is also used, making them extra absorbent and soft. I also like that I am not consuming so much plastic as some of the other brands use.

Love these. No need for plastic.

They are sturdy for applying and removing makeup and cleaning goo out of your outer ears, but the packaging is difficult to get into and you can easily drop many of them on the floor just trying to figure out how to get into the box.

These are the best, the big name brand don't compare. I ordered this because the other brand tip came off in my ear so I lost trust. These are great.

One word "strong" they do not break like the standard q-tips. I love them!!

I love the bamboo sticks! The packaging was equally impressive.I was so excited to try these. After spending an hour comparing all the swabs on Amazon, it looked like they would tick every box . . . When I opened them, the presentation was perfect!I noticed right away they were smaller than expected on the cotton ends. Very light, being bambo instead of paper, the sticks are able to be thinner. I tried on the top rim of my ear first, out of caution. It felt like I was cleaning my ear with a slightly padded stick. I would not feel safe cleaning the canal & would never use on a baby, child or pet that might move.I was extremely disappointed.However, I'm wondering now if its just a cultural difference. Maybe this is perfect where its made. So much care is obviously taken over every other aspect of the product.I have given some to a friend to use with her art projects.This last part is why I gave 3 stars. For my purposes and comfort I would have given it 2. For the care, materials and price, I would give it 5.
