A Must Buy Barrier, In addition to Stopping a Door Draft
I brought this product not to keep out the draft but for another reason. Embarrassing, as it is - late one night while laying in bed I saw a Mickey (a mouse) run under my closed door. Even though I live in NYC, I totally freaked out and knew I had to get proactive (moth balls, mint oil, steel wool pads, glue traps and electronic sonic plug in's). Next on my agenda, I knew I had to add to my arsenal - by making sure there was a barrier to keep out Mickey and any other critter(s) that might decide to try me and brought this, Stop Now Under Door Draft Weather Strip. I found this item on Amazon for a great price, under $10.00 and it comes in other colors, like white or black - I ordered brown to match my wood door. After viewing the pics (which must be enlarged) & reading the reviews- I wasn't really sure what to expect. So I hope my pics, my description can help someone. It's a plastic arrives rolled up & has an adhesive sticky back (see red strip in my pic) to adhere to your door, you cut it to size. Installation is fast, easy. Now I feel more secure in my home, I'm not so scared that Mickey will sneak under my door.

Works Really Well
The veneer was peeling off the bottom of my 60 year old front door because it's never had weatherstripping. I was afraid that I was going to have to spend a fortune to buy a new door. I tried one of these plus a brass plate above it. It did the trick. The door looks great, and I won't need to replace it. It also keeps the bugs and cold/hot air out. It is easy to install and sticks really well. I placed another one on an inside door to stop one of my cats from reaching under the door and scratching the wood. Now he pulls at the weatherstrip. So far, he has not been able to pull it off.

Keeps the cold air out
This is a very helpful tool to keep out winter drafts. It was super easy to install. You just cut to size and remove the paper strip, press the adhesive side to the door. Mine has been installed for over a week now and you can really tellthe difference. The temperature here has been between about -5 And 20 degrees, so it's pretty cold. You no lo get feel a draft when you go by this door. So if definitely say it's worth it.

Measure twice cut once
Can't say this enough, make sure you hang this on the door before cutting it. Works amazing though.

Easy and work great
Wish I had found these earlier. So easy to apply, no tools needed. Using them on interior doors to prevent light from shining underneath from the hallway. When you have hard floors or very low carpet it’s surprising how much light shines in under a door. Also helps reduce noise from other rooms.

Great solution, easy to install
These arrived quick and were easy to install. I just aligned them with the floor, cut to length, pulled the backing off the double sided tape and done. Caution on aligning directly with floor if you use door matts or rugs in front of your outside doors. Hopefully they will keep out some of spring bug traffic.

seems to keep the draft out better
couldn't find a universal seal for door to garage. this seal seems to cut the draft down more. I wish it would come in a set to blow the draft from both sides of the door. install can be a little tricky, but the sticky is strong and can be repositioned.

Seems to work, can’t use in conjunction with the area rug usually inside that door but I guess it would defeat the purpose if it did. Haven’t had another cold snap to really test it.
