I use these frequently to help keep the grill or oven pan clean when cooking meats with a high fat content, i.e. chicken, burgers, meatballs etc., and they do soak up dripping fats effectively. It's much easier to dispose of one of these used trappers than the alternative, which generally means a lot of greasy washing up and increasing the potential for clogged waste pipes.The materials and construction perhaps aren't quite as good as the more expensive versions of this trapper, but overall, they do an equivalent job. If you're keen to recycle as much as possible, the foil part (wiped) can be disposed of with other metals for recycling, such as cans, and the absorbent part can be composted.

These are thinner than Lakeland's but much cheaper. They're thick enough to grill some bacon, etc, but maybe not if you want to do a large amount. I will continue to buy these.
