Sally Costume, Official Disney Nightmare Before Christmas Sally Classic Outfit

Overall, the costume was exactly as expected. It is a thin material but you can wear layers underneath. The arm pieces were very loose at the top, but some hair ties easily fixed that issue. The wig was not very full, but the yarn can be placed toward the front so it looks full (it would not look great from the back). Although others complained about the back being plain pink, I did not see that as a huge downside. The quality was great for the price. The size chart seemed fairly accurate but make sure to check because the sizes are not typical.

Didn't use the arm sleeves because the finger hole was to tight but for the price this was an absolute amazing costume

I bought this costume for Halloween as it seemed to be the only Sally costume that looked true to the movie version rather than the short skirted, "sassy" or altered versions. I'm 5' 8" and 135" and a 38B and the large fit well. I think the medium size would have been a little too tight and I can adjust the back with the ties to make it more form fitting if I want to. The only thing I didn't like about the costume is that the back is just a thin, pink material. You would have thought that the manufacturer would have used the same pattern in the back as in the front. Even if I had to pay a bit more, it would have made the costume 5-stars. I also didn't care for the yarn wig, which I replaced with another wig. The stitch sleeves come with the costume and it is a nice overall costume for a few hours of Halloween fun.

So I had to stop what I was doing and write this review. I had previously ordered a different Sally costume and it was so snug and short that I sent it back. Just got this one and immediately tried it on. I was a bit hesitant on this one because for me it was on sale for half the cost of the other one but was definitely longer. Anywho, SUPER fast shipping. I ordered it Saturday and it came today (Monday). I am 5 foot 3 and weigh about 230 pounds. I have large arms and not so large breasts. I ordered the XXL. This is how it fit me and I couldn’t be more thrilled. The length is great for me. The dress is made of thin fabric but most costumes are. While I’m bummed that it didn’t come with stockings, it’s long enough that I may just paint my legs, get plain blue stockings or not even worry about it. Or maybe get some black and white socks to wear with my boots. The wig is thick, bright red yarn. Which I know in the movie it’s darker but everyone always colors her hair brighter anyways. It is a bit hot so I may get a thinner wig later. The arm sleeves fit but after a few minutes started to sag a little. I am gonna just add in some lingerie elastic to hold them up. For me, they fit just under the sleeve which is perfect. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Highly recommend it! (Please excuse our floors. In the middle of remodeling)

Front looks great, but I was so upset that the back is solid pale pink and not patchwork pattern. What was I supposed to do, walk around with my back to walls all night? Received the costume in too short of time to do anything about it before Halloween. The yarn wig was good quality and fit my large head (hat size 7 1/2) and I have very long thick hair that fit easily under it braided. Dress was very thin material, needed to wear clothes underneath since the back was see through. Fit as expected.

I saw reviews mentioning that they weren’t happy with the wig, but honestly, for the price, I was really happy with this costume. Yes, the wig is sparse in the back, but I used this costume to trick or treat with my kids, so it was perfect for what I wanted.The costume does run large. I’m in the juniors 7/9, and I’m 5’5 165lbs (normally a women’s size 10).

The fabric is very thin sheer and not as bright or as thick as the picture. Back of dress is pink and see through. The product details should include that it has a tie back and is pink. The wig is worthless. There isn't enough yarn to cover your whole head and only sewn in one area. You look like a balding Sally. Not to mention, it fits really loose. I had originally bought the accessories at a costume store, and very glad I did since they are sold out now. The wig I got was $20 and 100 times better from the exact same brand. This package costume is worth $19.99 at most. It is too late for me to return at this point and get a new dress, the costume store has one for $50, but it isn't shaped right. If you are going for easy and on the cheap, this would work, but if you want to look good right out of the package, this is not the buy for you.

The arms were cute, but the material was not "stretchy" or snug enough. It kept sliding off of my arms. I had to use a hair band on both arms under my shoulders/underarms area to keep the cute Sally arms on. (I will add, I bought a 3X on accident. I actually wear size 13 Juniors pants, so a Large-XLarge on things like costumes. My issue could have been the wrong size bought, "if" the arms that come with the costume do indeed get smaller, the smaller the size you buy. But idk. 🤷🏻‍♀️)
