Lonely Planet Bali, Lombok & Nusa Tenggara

This is a beautifully presented guidebook about Bali, Lombok & Nusa Tenggara which is 360 pages long. Inside the back cover is also a map of the whole country with a key. It includes lots of full colour photos and smaller maps within, pinpointing each highlight/attraction. The book has lots of information on various things which could be of interest to visitors to these places, including where to stay and things to eat and is all colour coded by region. Overall a handy, well-presented guide, perfect for pre-trip planning and flicking through for inspiration when there. At the time of review this is £15.97. Highly recommended.

The new design and content is useless. You don't find all the valuable information as before. The content got reduced due to all the pictures and the design. The era of Lonely Planet is over. I ordered the old version to get what I was used to with Lonely Planet.

Contenido muy completo y con datos actualizados

The detailed information about less touristy areas was invaluable. It led me to discover some truly hidden gems that many other travelers likely miss. The suggested itineraries were also very helpful, especially for someone combining time in Bali and Lombok. I used this guide extensively during my trip and found it to be very well researched and accurate overall. Some may find the sheer amount of content a bit overwhelming, but for me it was a welcome resource. The writing was engaging and the photos were gorgeous.
