Vali 3 Beautiful Tube Hybrid Headphone Amp and Preamp - Silver

This is my 1st experience with an amp, so I do not have anything to compare with. I am using Sennheiser HD 650, WITH ONKYO C-7030, and Fiio BTA30 PRO, And still using stock tube. I AM LOVING IT! OH, Listening to new BLUE NOTE REMASTERS UHQ-CDs. I'm becoming an AUDIOPHILE! GOOD STUFF

Very nice headphone amp. Built like a tank. It sounded good with the included tube, but I replaced the included tube with a Western Electric 396A tube, and it now sounds phenomenal. I highly recommend this amp and seller if you're serious about music.

Nice natural sound

After watching videos containing the hype and hate surrounding Schiit products I chose this little tube amp. I have a phenomenal solid state headphone amp (JDS Atom) and was looking for a stable, reliable tube amp, for not much money that could drive all my headphone types with good power output ,( relatively speaking depending on phone impedance). Plus column: USA made. Great warranty. Very nice structure and tactical feedback. Cool design. Sound is “slightly colored “ within the tube stage…. If you squint… in other words they are very transparent, and they measure well , so not “syrupy “ ,”buttery” , simply put, they don’t introduce audible distortion that is equated in some human brains as warm, fuzzy and more natural sounding than solid state devices. But they are warmish ( maybe expectation bias) and non fatiguing. Powerful. Price. Negative column: more like a solid state amp. Power switch is on the back? Fumbly until you get a system to turn on and off. Conclusion: the designer is a funny dude. Watch his interviews. Schitt has a niche and frankly everything they are producing fulfills that niche. American made, high quality, reasonably priced, specs are pretty phenomenal for price, build is better looking and feeling than the manufacturing process should allow (stamped metals) impressive in its own right. I love this amplifier. The glow of an audio tube is magical. Great company, keep it up Schitt.

Very nice unit. I rolled the tube with a WE 396A and it sounds excellent!

Softens the sound like listening to an old vinyl. Yes it muddies up the sound a bit but by design. Everything sounds analog and life like. Highly recommended. For experts, tube rolling doesn't do much

This is a fine sounding headphone amplifier straight out of the boxes with the included tube. I swapped it out for a 5670 tube and the music really bloomed and expanded. It seems very well built, and a steal for the price.

Best bang for your buck tube headphone amp. Small footprint is great for a workspace. Power switch location on the back is an odd design choice but otherwise it's terrific for the price if you don't need balanced in/out.
