After 5 hours of pickleball and profuse sweating, my makeup still looks like I put it on this morning. I have been cursed or maybe blessed with extremely oily skin and huge pores. Have tried many primers only to be disappointed in their ability to minimize pores but also to keep my makeup from sliding down my face by the end of a workday. It’s hard to believe but this product is the holy grail of primers. As you can see by the photo, my hair is a mess but my face still looks like it did when I left the house this morning. A plus to the R&D team that discovered this stuff. As a bonus, it’s natural, glides on smoothly with a slight cooling sensation and prepares the canvas for paint. Great for at the beach, in the pool or anywhere you need to look your best while potentially getting wet.

This is the only primer I use. It goes on so smooth and light. It evens out my skin tone. I found this product by accident and so glad! I also have psoriasis and it’s very gentle.

I absolutely love all of my grown alchemist products. This primer has been a go to of mine since I have oily skin. This primer gives my skin a nice matte finish. It has a fresh scent to it as well. I highly recommend any of grown alchemist products

This review is for Grown Alchemist Skin Defense Primer for Anti-Pollution and Pore Minimizing (50mL) I love Grown Alchemist products. I was excited to try this primer. I don't typically use a makeup primer and was happy to give this a try. I was hoping for better product use directions on the packaging because I wasn't sure how this might play with my makeup and sunscreen. I applied this to just cleaned skin in place of my usual moisturizer. It applies evenly with no issue. I found that I had to make sure to really rub this in completely. Areas that weren't fully absorbed or thick tended to dry a bit chalky. You could easily rub the chalkiness in but I suggest you let this fully dry before you apply any other makeup so that you can find and smooth out any of the white build up. After application and once it has fully dried, it blurs your skin in a way that evens out blotches and blurs smaller pores. The feeling of my skin is wonderful after application. It's as smooth as velvet. I applied my makeup as usual, and there is definitely an advantage to this primer. Everything blended nicely while still adhering well. The primer lasts all day long giving a more refined look to my makeup finish. I am finding that I prefer to use this for evening makeup because I don't find it to work as well when I apply my sunscreen for day time protection. The sunscreen seems to eliminate some of the effect. The blurring effect of this primer is so good that you could actually just wear this alone for a very natural look. Once again, I'm happy with a Grown Alchemist product.

Love this! It’s like gel when you squeeze some out and dry up into a nice primer after a couple of minutes. So easy to apply and not leaving my skin to dry.

I bought this product after hype in internet , main goal was to made skin poreless without silicones in product, it works good as base before make up but not really fade out pores or make me less shiny.

I already use (and love) the Grown Alchemist Hydra Restore moisturiser and this set looked like a great way to try out some other products before committing to the full size.
