Actually a spray, not a splash on aftershave. The scent is incredible. It's definitely a classic scent but not old fashioned at all. It's very clean and fresh. Slight soapiness, slight leather and linen and a saltiness that reminds me of the ocean. Definitely gets noticed but not overpowering at all. Anytime fragrance that goes well with classic shave soaps like Arko, Derby...etc. Two thumbs up.

This was a gift for my father-in-law, it is the only scent he wears. I like that it is not over powering and does not seem to bother my allergies. It is a nice clean smelling cologne.

So a buddy of mine told me he read some story on the next how this cologne/aftershave is scientifically proven to attract women because of the pheromones it gives out. Well I don't know about all that but I did hear it smells pretty good. So what it comes down to is your taste in cologne. If your more into products like POLO, Armani, etc. than I wouldn't recommend this product. Some reviews have said it smells like old mans cologne/aftershave but I don't feel that way either. To me it has kind of a flowery/fruity smell but in a good way. I was drawn to it (maybe the pheromones) jk. It doesn't last forever but I did notice when I would sweat from heat or the gym hours later the smell would come back out and many women complimented it. The choice is yours...

Subtle lime fragrance and soothing to the skin. Once I was introduced to it in 1977, (yes, 1977), I have not used any other aftershave lotion or cream. Not easily available in the U.S. when I moved here in 1981, I used to get it from Europe. But, now, thanks to the wonders of technology, I can get it from amazon.com with a few clicks on my computer.

I was disappointed that the after shave is in a spray bottle. The prior Amazon order that I made for this was a splash on which I strongly prefer. Too big of a hassle to return it.

I've worn this for years but the last 2 times I've bought this I have noticed the scent doesn't last long..it's not as strong nor lasting as it use to be . A tad disappointed to say the least.

Typical Eau Sauvage fragrance- pleasant and refreshing.EDT May have been a better option as it has atomiser.
