Super light weight and compact. Also was surprised by how durable it was with tougher ground. Very easy to use and clever design. Everything works as stated, and I will be taking it on all my future camping trips!

This has to be hands down the best bathroom kit out there. The design is fantastic: lightweight, compact and easy to use. The shovel is very ergonomic and makes short work of digging the necessary hole. The inclusion of the mycelium is genius. I really like the idea of using a native process to help minimize our impact in the outdoors.Hands down, the wipes are the absolute best. With just a splash of water they magically transform into just the right size. I have never needed more than one and they leave me feeling super clean. It feels like a splurge in the woods, but is so lightweight, I can't imagine not including it in my kit.I have seen other back country shovels priced for as much as this entire kit. It is a great value and I plan to be using it for years to come.

I’ve been bikepacking and backpacking for decades and always used to carry a shovel, toilet paper, baby wipes and an emergency dog poop bag in case I couldn’t find anywhere suitable to dig a hole. Now I have an all in one kit that’s light, compact and everything is in one place so I’m not looking for toilet paper half way through! Paired with the pack out kit I’m sorted for all situations and I’m helping break down my poop faster or carrying it out so I’m helping nature too! It’s all so easy to use and the shovel is way better than the bulky plastic one I’ve been using for years. The whole kit is well thought out, beautifully made and a great price.

So first, this is a reasonably compact kit and did its job. The wipes rehydrate with about a capful of water and worked well. I didn't stick around to see if the mycellium tabs work, but it seems reasonable in theory. The organizer/containment for these works well too.The shovel is where things kind of fall apart. First, the little teeth are good enough to deal with very small (up to maybe 1/8") roots. The shovel feels sturdy enough, but I was in soft soil. It's very small though which does two things 1) it means you've got lots of pressure (same force on a smaller area) when you're trying to dig and that's beneficial but it also 2) moves a lot less material. The bigger problem is that the dirt and mud packs its way back up inside the handle and there's no good way to clean it out well.I'm not sure this constitutes a good value purchase, but it is convenient. I'll probably end up moving to a difference trowel and maybe buying the wipes separately but for now, this is super-good-enough.

The trowel is good. I'd just get that, not the insert and pellets. Only problem is that mud gets up in the handle and the black cap makes it hard to remove the mud up there. Five starts for the metal portion of the trowel. It's the most/ only ergonomic trowel I've ever used and I recommend it. More durable than a deuce, a little heavier, not so much as to not be a better tool over all

Used this kit on a backpacking trip and I will never use anything else. It is so handy, and I loved everything about it! The trowel part works very well (and is SOOOO light!!), and I loved the compacted wipes that it comes with. It made using the bathroom in the woods much more tolerable! :)

I spend a lot of time out on the trails and this is the perfect solution for when I need to go. Lightweight, compact, easy to use, and all the right stuff in one package. I use it regularly and have recommended it to all my trail friends. It’s always in my pack and for good reason. Also great to have in the car when you’re too far from facilities. It is, and will be, part of my go-to outdoor gear.

This is an excellent, lightweight kit that every outdoor enthusiast should have. I was excited to finally get one of these kits, as I’ve been reading about and seeing their product at local REI stores. Human waste has been an ongoing issue, and I love having a simple solution that helps fix the problem while supporting the need to go to the bathroom in the woods.Bonus: the company’s website offers many informative articles worth exploring to educate yourself better, + the product's packaging is on point.This kit will forever live in every hiking backpack and running vest (yes, it’s that light!!) I own!
