Oh, the internet! What a place for answers to questions you're too embarrassed to ask a real person!! HAHA!Hormonal changes as we *ahem* mature may or may not (I'll admit nothing!) cause one to google "old people smell." It's only a short few clicks later, one may or may not stumble upon threads talking about persimmon soap's effects on solving such an issue, should one think they may or may not have any issue.Another few clicks and one may or may not open their door to a smiley box containing showerful magic.Who knows? Certainly not me. But if I were to, say, speak (hypothetically) for a FRIEND, I'd be amazed at the results and say the bar lasts a long time. He or she would likely tell you to buy it. What have you got to lose, Mildred? Hint: Just the funk.

This soap does everything as advertised. Plus it lathers well and smells nice but doesn't conflict with any cologne I might want to wear. Only complaint is that the square shape is a bit harder to hold on to rather than a bar that is more hand-shaped -- but that's being really picky because this soap is great!

The scent is nice, cleans well, I can’t really tell if it has changed my scent. But I do not like the little nubby bits imbedded in the soap. It feels scratchy. Not sure I will buy again.

works ok smells kinda funny

Now this might sound silly, but I have never been one for bar soap. This soap was recommended in a forum I was in while looking for a deodorant for my 10 year old granddaughter that was all natural. The article talked about how well it worked as a deodorant and of all things, on under boob sweat. I decided I would give it a try this summer and I am obsessed! You really would have to try it to understand.

I purchased this soap after googling to learn why I developed 'old person's smell' despite showering every morning. I learned that persimmon eliminates this. I doubted it but purchased the soap to give it a try. The soap smells very nice and definitely works. I just bought a second bar.

I used for a month. Nice lather and scent; however, my skin started to show an allergic reaction so have ceased using.

Love the subtle sweet scent. Lathers up nice. I like how it makes my skin feel after showering.
