The 3 Little Pigs (Classics Illustrated Junior) Paperback – September 1, 2015

I remembered this book from when I was little, the illustrations are absolutely charming ~ i always loved the fact that the little pigs liked eating turnips (funny what appeals to you, lol) and the turnips were purple on top! The little pigs also live in a very cozy cottage, and enjoy playing bagpipes (these little details really make the book appealing and memorable). There are a lot of different ways to spin "the 3 little pigs", but this story book is so perfect ~ in my opinion~ ! I was browsing books for my son (he's about to turn 3 and he always recieves lots of books for every occasion) and began thinking about some of my old favorites from childhood, trying to remember the images from books I used to read again and again...purple turnips came to mind! I did'nt think I would find this one, as it is older and probably out of print (i've been quite shocked to find that many of my childhood faves are worth a pretty penny now ~ and are much more than I care to spend on a book that is more than likely going to get worn out in no time flat) , so I was very excited to find this book on Amazon, and even more pleased that it was priced affordably! Now I can only hope that my little boy likes it as much as I did (and still do!) :)

The comics came in a perfect condition as expected. Brand new.

My daughter has hundreds of books, but this is the only book she likes to read. Every. Single. Day. lol. Shipped quickly and arrives as pictured.

Very good representation of the original tale

Crap or rather pig crap! someone knows how to make money now this book has been scanned and submitted to kindle that person should be hung by his chinny chin chin, I thought this was a read along book, it's not unless the kindle supports 45rpm records (if anyone remembers what those are)You see the economy creates this kind of nuttiness now when these people go to the thriftstore pick up a book like this scan it and make money.......ugggg I hope the piece of candy that you buy with my 99 cents chokes you blue

This is an awesome book, I bought this for the three year old grandson and you must read this everyday!!!!!

There were a few pages with some slight water damage on the top of the book by the seam.

It's a book with a cd , good learning aid used for early years nursery course

3匹のこぶたのお話のカセットと絵本。あの有名な by the hair of my chiny chin chinのフレーズもあります。カセットはＡ面が朗読で、ページをめくるタイミングで合図の音がなります。Ｂ面は各ページについての簡単な質問が入っていて、間をおいてから答えが流れます。絵をよく見て考えれば簡単な質問ですが、英語の勉強だけでなく、小さな子供には観察力もついて、なかなか良いのではないかと思います。我が家の息子は5歳ですが、結構気に入っていますよ。ただ、彼にとっては朗読のスピードが遅すぎるようなので、星4つにしました。

Very good story but disappointed that the sound doesn't work on Kindle Fire. My son loved it somuch we read it twice.
