We bought this for a few barn cats outside that I have a soft spot for. For the price, the materials are solid. It's got an actual asphalt roof, good solid trim, decent thickness wood pieces and a few vinyl strips on the front door to keep it warm. Took a day or so but the cats love it, and the included ramp is pretty neat. I keep an old blanket inside of it which is easily swapped out due to the lid having a sturdy hinge that opens the whole roof for cleaning. There were zero chemical smells (honestly it smells like red cedar) and took about 5-10 minutes to build with a Phillips screwdriver. I'd absolutely recommend it!

Easy to put together and super cute

this is a nice size for one average size cat. the top can be removed for easy cleaning. it snowed here and then inside stayed dry. I had to add some styrofoam to the inside around then corners. there were large gaps where the sides are put together so the cold air will get in. later I will put some foam to insulate those areas for now the styrofoam and plastic liners will do. also the holes were not lined up and deep enough to just twist the screws in for the top panel and the hinge. I had to use a drill to put in those screws. other than that it was pretty simple to put together. I haven't seen my feral get inside of it. so I don't know if they have used it or not. time will tell. but I can say it stayed dry. after the 5 inches of snow we received here none got into the house. there was a smell but it faded after a while when I was putting the house together. the roof is sturdy one cat was sitting on top of it when the snow melted off.

Well made pet house. Purrfect for that special kitty. Nicely insulated, the top/roof has a covering like an actual roof protected from the wind, rain an even harsh sun. It does have a height adjustment so it is not completely on the ground. It was very east to assemble took me about 20 minutes. Very durable during the rainy season, I place a kitty bed inside and it fit perfectly. I don't have any cats. However there are a few wandering kitties and I do see them utilize the kitty home when the weather is challenging. Makes me happy to see them use it.

This cat house is awesome! So sturdy and beautiful. Took me about 30mins to build. Simple instructions and easy to assemble. All you need are a few tools. I used a hammer for the latch on the roof, but other than that, easy peasy! Highly recommend even if you aren’t handy, you can do it! It’s bigger than I thought. My outdoor cat is quite big, but he has tons of room to stretch out. Oh and it’s waterproof too! The value is priceless, keeping our strays comfy through all seasons.

This is cute but pay attention to the measurements. I did not. This is very small.

My outdoor 12 year cat loved this! She had other houses to alway stay warm but with this one I also bought a little pad that fits in there nicely and warms to her body heat! 😢 unfortunately she only got to use one winter she passed away!

My cat uses this to stalk critters. She usually gets them. Don’t be fooled by the cute heart on her house, she’s a menace. 10/10 recommend.
