 This beach blanket is great in every way. It's made really well, double stitching around the edges and thin, buttery soft material. This blanket has 4 pouches in the corners which you fill with sand and it keeps it from flying away. There's also a zipper pocket in the middle of one of the sides which is great for stashing keys or phone so you don't loose them in the sand! I was really impressed with how well this blanket keeps the sand off. I can sit in the middle of it with no sand getting all over me, it's great! My kids also really like the colors, when it sways in the wind it looks like waves. All around wonderful beach blanket, I will be keeping this in the car for all our beach trips.

There is some real thought put into this blanket and it's clearly made for a day at the beach. Here are a few reasons why.Material - The blanket is made out of an almost silky material. We haven't used it in the sand yet, but it's pretty slippery and I have little doubt the sand will fly right off.Built-In Bag - The bag used to store the blanket is sewed to the blanket...this means there is no way you are going to lose it or get it mixed up with someone else.Tie Downs - The material is super light so I'm pretty confident the wind is going to catch it. Each of the corners has tied downs to place the included stakes to hold it down when you can stake it down.Sand Bags? - There are six little extensions found in the corners and one on each side of the blanket. When I ordered this, I thought they were filled with sand to hold down the blanket. I was wrong, but in a great way! Each of these are deep pockets where you can hide your belongings, keep something out of the sun (like your phone that overheats) or throw some sand in it to hold the blanket down in the wind. I haven't seen this on a blanket before and it makes a ton of sense!Water protector - The blanket comes with a water protector for your phone, which is nice to have. I'm not sure I would be confident enough to submerge my phone while it's in the pouch, but it will definitely help with splashes.Overall, great purchase and I can't wait to use it on my next trip to the beach or park.

so far, so good. I'll update after some abuse. But the quality is as good as my tents and rainflies. In fact, using it as a rain fly is one of the reasons I got it since all my old rain flies are smaller from when I solo hiked. We're going to the beach, so I wanted something for the ground, but also as a rain or sun shelter, I love the additional nylon loops so I don't have to fill the pockets and tie them off before lashing to trees, between my van's roofrack and our collapsible canopy or whatever. If it works as well as I think, I'll buy another for ground and ceiling.And it's cheaper than the products labeled as a rain fly or nylon tarp.The stuff sack has a legit buckle and nylon tape. I like that the stuff sack is integrated so my wife and kids won't lose it. They lose everything. "daddy, can i use your knife?" ... "sure" ... "I don't want your cheap knife. I want to use your good knife" ... "nope" ...UPDATE ONEWe've abused it. My kids spilled food on it. Used it at the beach. used it as an entry way into our camping tent... we got to the campsite late, I was in a hurry, I forgot to clear the land, so there were lots of twigs and branches under it the entire time.Cleans up well, no rips or damage yet.I haven't used it as a rain fly yet, but the ground at the campsite was wet and it got wet through. I think the only way it would work for as a rain fly is if it's angled enough to run off so it doesn't soak through. It'll work as a sun-fly.I see it's currently at $30. We bought at $23, which is what my review is based on. The more expensive it gets, the less valuable it becomes as there are plenty of options in the $30-range.

Perfect fit for 2 adults, 3 children, and 27 dolls. Why you ask? Because the entire family of dolls wanted to have beach party. Who else would live in our sand castles? In all honesty, the blanket is a kid good size for our family, with adequate room for our littlest to roam. Clean up was super easy and I always welcome a storage bag.

 We took our new beach blanket to the beach last night and I was amazed how big it was! I also thought if the ground was wet it would soak through the blanket but it didn't. Once I took it out I thought there is no way this big blanket will fit back in that tiny bag but in second it was all safely tucked back in the bag. The bag is attached to the blanket which is a great idea. There is also an attached zipper pouch which was a nice addition. We are very pleased with this blanket!

I ordered this to use at the beach. Sand on a blanket is annoying, especially when you end up tracking it into your car and house. This was a good buy. The colors are vibrant, and it is large enough for several people to seat or lounge. You probably need to have someone help you with laying it out. It is lightweight so it blows a bit in the wind when you shake it out to lay it down. You can secure it yourself, but its just easier with someone else. I used it with the stakes and had no problems with it coming up unexpectedly. I didn't test the bags that could hold sand, but I am sure it would be just as effective. It was just a personal preference to use the stakes. Due to wind, I couldn't fold it on the beach alone to get it back in the storage pouch, but I balled it up, put it in my backpack and then folded it later. It works best to fold the edges inward like you would putting a letter in an envelope rather than folding like a blanket--if that makes any sense. I would have given it 5 stars except, sunscreen (lotion) got on it in a few places, and when I washed it, it left a mark, like the way oil does. That wouldn't happen on a regular towel, but when I return home, I will use some Dawn dish soap to see if I can get it out. Overall though, it was a great buy for the price.
