I purchased this aquatic media to grow some pond Lillie’s. It’s great if you use it with composted soil but, it DOES leave the water very dirty and murky looking. It states that it won’t but, not so true.

Great stuff. I just wish I hadn’t killed the flowers.

I am not sure if i did something wrong but most of this ended up on the bottom of the pond. I am still cleaning it up.

Product arrived intact and as advertised. My intended use was for starting lotus seeds indoors. My seeds had already sprouted when the medium arrived and to my amazement, grew exponentially after adding the medium. I am looking forward to watching the progress. I should state I am growing the lotus in glass bowls. So far, the medium is easily settled on the bottom when adding water so the presentation is exactly as I wanted, clear water with easily observed sprouting seeds. I just wish our West Texas weather would make it easier to have an outdoor water feature to display the flowers I am anticipating to result from use of this form of nutrients.

Used the planting medium for the pots in my whiskey barrel water garden. It does not float to the top of the water. Yay!! Plants are doing well. I would buy again.

This stuff works well when potting “water plants”. It does not float debris all over the place like potting soil or “top soil. It is also heavy enough to keep the potted water plants from floating all over the place. I have reordered this stuff several times. My little pond looks great.
