I got these since I have different breeds of chickens and some I have multiples of. When they were younger I could tell them instantly apart, but as they grew up and looked the same I couldn't. Very easy to use, don't bother or hurt the chickens and now I can even notice whos who and call by name at a distance! Just a note here...chickens will peck at red since they think its blood, I'd advise not using the red ones as they could peck at their own feet, or the others could.

These worked well for my chickens. I needed to tag them for state required tests in order to move them across state lines. I did read on various chicken blogs not to use the red ties because chickens tend to pick at anything they perceive as blood. I used those for my duck and goose who don't have the habit and the chickens wouldn't dare bother them. I would suggest to the manufacturer to eliminate the red ties and replace with pink or orange. My hens are adults so I don't need to worry about these becoming too tight due to growth. If you use these on young poultry, please check frequently to make sure they are not too snug.

Excellent purchase only wish that the numeric series was greater than 30, perhaps up to #99. Would make it to identify chickens, ducks and turkeys?

Number will disappear quickly so if you're getting them for the number purpose it will not last long using on chickens

Happy with these. They came in a timely manner, packaged well and fit both our chickens and ducks. We also used them with decorative charms we purchased on Amazon from a private seller and they work well with those too

I used this product to tag my son’s 4H turkeys. Overall I’m pleased, my only issue was some of the numbers rubbing offso processor accidentally labeled two turkeys with same number.I loved the variety of colors and no repeat of numbers!I had 16 turkeys and only used one color for 2-3 turkeys so I could at least figure out who was who without looking at band number constantly (unfortunately that couldn’t help processor as they wouldn’t have known G11 was bronze and G12 was white 🤷‍♀️ when labeling). Just like us- we all look the same inside. Fortunately for me, they were a pound different in weight so I could figure out mistake.
