Brzeaf Hair Styling Powder, Provides texture and volume, Medium to Strong Hold, Natural Look, For All Hair Types

When I first put this on my hair, I loved it! (I am a woman) and my hair is down to my hips. I have very frizzy, oily hair, no matter what I do. I applied this to my roots after I washed my hair and I noticed immediately that it made my hair very stiff. It completely got rid of my frizz and that was the first time in a long time that I didn't have any frizz on my crown. It also is mattifying so it does what a dry shampoo would do and got rid of my oily scalp! However, I do not think this product is made for longer hair. If you have very short hair, I think this product would be awesome! It would help you style your hair and keep it in place where you want it, while also getting rid of your frizz and oily scalp. But for me personally, it really dried out my hair and left a weird film on my hair. I have tried clarifying my hair but nothing has worked. It's since been 2 weeks since I last tried this product and my hair turns into dreads every single day, if I don't stay on top of it. I don't know what to do. I'm hoping with time, the weird film this applied to my hair will eventually go away. I would give this less stars but since it's made for men and most men have short hair... I won't. I use men's hair products all the time and have never had this happen.

Although is it a common ingredient, the Brzeaf Hair Styling Powder has Dimethicone, also known as polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), is a synthetic, silicone-based polymer in it. This is in many beauty products and it does leave a nice shine and feel. However, it weighs hair down over time and this leads to breakage. It's not a good ingredient in general, but definitely not for individuals with longer or thin/thinning hair. It coats the strands of hair, which keeps the hair from absorbing any nutrients. I cannot use it for these reasons. I would have skipped ordering it if the ingredients had been listed within the product information or images.

I have mixed feelings about the styling powder. On the positive side, the powder does provide a good amount of volume and texture, which helps create a fuller look for my husband’s hair. It's easy to apply and doesn't leave a noticeable residue or stickiness, which is great. However, I found that the hold doesn't last as long as we would like. By midday, his hair tends to lose the volume and starts to look flat again. Additionally, while the powder gives a nice matte finish, it can make my husband’s hair feel a bit dry and rough to the touch.Overall, The Hair Styling Powder is decent for quick styling and adding initial volume, but it falls short in terms of lasting hold and overall feel. It’s a great product, just not right for my husband’s hair type.

I'm a woman. I think the target audience for this brand is men, while other brands cater to women. But it's all the same stuff, and women's stuff tends to have inflated prices. But anyway, I've used this a few times now. What I like: It makes freshly washed hair feel like second- or third-day hair, which is what you want for certain women's hairstyles (namely, updos). It does help create a lot more volume at the top of my head, where I want it. There is no odor that I can detect. What I don't like: It's a very very small amount of product. And applying and distributing it takes some effort. It's easy to sprinkle on, but it shows up very white on dark hair, and you have to be careful to distribute the product throughout the hair. You also have to be careful to not have it land on your scalp, where it's really difficult to move without messing up what you've already styled. It took me a few tries over the past week to get a decent application, and it makes a mess. I think that will get better as I get more practice. But overall it's a really useful product, and this product's price per ounce is about in the middle of what I can see online, so it's not a bad value.

Both my husband and I tried this and it is a great product! Light powder and just a little dusting at the roots, massage in and the extra volume is visible. Just need a little powder sprinkle each time. I have blond hair and my husband has brown and this item worked for both of us.

This styling powder is very light weight (it seems like the bottle is completely empty), but it provides almost immediate texture and volume when you run it through your hair. It allows for styling with medium-level hold with a matte finish -- no shine or visible residue on the hair. I found that it lasts all day as long as your hair is left alone. This product would be especially great for travel, being so light and easy to pack.

The media could not be loaded. This is a lot smaller than the other hair powders I am used to. Not that that is a bad thing but just be aware before you order that this is more of a fun size.Overall it works well, like a powdered hairspray. Adds volume & texture without shine or crispiness.Be careful applying so that you do not look like you have dandruff.5 stars.
