Healthy PondsAquasphere Pro Biodegradable Pond Treatment 3-Pack, Each Sphere Treats up to 1,000 Gallons

The 3 spheres came but 80%of the contents were loose in the bag...not what was described....they didnt even respond to an email...this product is horrible

I have a small man-made pond in my back yard that has two basins: a top basin that cascades into the bottom basin. We have a UV light in the pond that is supposed to keep it algae-free, but after we put fish in the pond, it was clear that the UV light wasn't working because the pond quickly turned green and cloudy. I bought these pond balls out of desperation because we couldn't even see the fish it was so cloudy! Even though I don't think we have 1,000 gallons in the entire pond, I decided to drop in two balls (one in top and one in bottom). The pond is probably about three feet deep and it was so bad I couldn't even see the balls after I dropped them in. Like an impatient child I checked the pond every day to see if there was any difference. I was beginning to doubt their efficacy until around day 10 when I could suddenly make out the ball at the bottom of the pond! Now at day 23, the water is nice and clear and we can enjoy our fish again! The algae hasn't completely come off the rocks, but I will continue to treat the pond with a new ball every 30 days to see if the rocks clear up. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and will be buying more soon!

We have had lots of trouble with our pond for years! Came upon these and tried them and been very happy with the results!

I added one of these about a month abo, and water did clear up, but I also am using wheat straw and Lava rock, and plan on putting in a real filter (wikihow), so while my water is clear, it's hard to know which process is doing most of the work.However, I do plan on using these balls as directed, whether in conjunction or alone, I think they help and i do recommend!

Doesn't seem to work as advertised.
