The world of surviving historic aircraft can be a difficult one to follow, so having such a well detailed and well researched book as this is a great advantage to the serious, and casual historian.Impressive level of detail, and fully illustrated with a number of rare and unusual images, this is a well overdue resource, and hopefully not the last of its type.

I bought this book as a birthday present for my Dad. He is really enjoying reading about the background and history of the remaining Hurricane planes around the world. Lots of photos and information to keep the reader interested.

If you are interested in the Hawker Hurricane, this is well worth buying. All the known surviving Hurricanes are covered. This is up to the standard of Gordon Riley's previous ventures.

An excellent book, well researched, with great photographs and obviously a lot of work went into producing it

Covers current Hurricanes in detail.The best part for me was the history of "projects" - "lost" - "rumoured" - Hurricanes. That has cleared up a lot of mysteries!
