(Longest but detailed review if you want more information) On the product shots of the figure, some people said that he has a big belly which looks terrible. But in hand it looks and feels alot better compared to the product shots. The figure appearance: Despite the belly where some people find it a problem, in hand it looks and feels Amazing! If you have it in hand he looks EXACTLY like his in-game model especially his back in robot mode which is accurate compared to the original 2010 figure. The chest doesn't bother me that much, the only thing that does are the legs. I don't like how the gray hinge part of the leg being exposed it looks like he has skinny and the way the wheels is placed seems off to me. So I mistransformed his legs by turning the waste, after that I turned the legs around and he looks so much better. I perfer it to be mistransformed compared to the original design of this figure (which is why there is so many shots of this figure being mistransformed). His vehicle mode is also 100% in-game accurate and it looks like it jump straight out from the video game literally speaking. Articulations: The articulation of this figure is SPOT ON! You can pull off dynamic poses or any kind of poses if you mistransformed his legs. On the original transformation, you don't have an ankle because it is packaged and shown like it. But if you mistransform his legs, you have ankle movement that can you can create many dynamic poses of this figure (which is why I have him displayed like this and have so many picture of it). I highly recommend mistransforming his legs IF you want a better looking bumblebee or want him to have an ankle movement. Transformation: The transformation of the studio series WFC bumblebee figure is not bad actually. Although I suggest you proceed with caution because I heard that the back piece pops out alot. I don't have that problem on my figure, I'm just saying you should be aware of that. SS Gamer edition bumblebee vs Orignal WFC bumblebee - robot form: On the image I showed you, the studio series version is a great update because in-hand the chest, forearms and the legs looks great so far and the color shade of yellow of the studio series version is SO MUCH BETTER. As for the 2010 original WFC Bumblebee he looks great but he has so many "fake" parts. By that I mean that the forearms of the original figure, it has the headlights on him and the chest has the fake part where it looks like the headlights but it isn't. The orignal 2010 figure he has so much KIBBLE, he has kibble on his forearms and the has a MASSIVE backpack that sticks out too much. As for the color from the original WFC bumblebee has a very light shade of yellow which doesn't look that great. SS Gamer edition bumblebee vs Orignal WFC bumblebee - poses: The studio series gamer edition bumblebee figure can be able to do dynamic poses with or without the ankle movement (if necessary). As for the original WFC bumblebee you can barely put him in any dynamic pose due his odd proportions. SS Gamer edition bumblebee vs Orignal WFC bumblebee - proportions: The studio series bumblebee proportions looks better and much prefered to the original because unlike the original 2010 WFC Bumblebee, his arms doesn't spread out much and his wrist doesn't bent inward much and the studio series bumblebee doesn't have chicken legs (shown on the image). SS Gamer edition bumblebee vs Orignal WFC bumblebee - Vehicle form: The vehicle form of both the original and newer version, I say that the studio series WFC Bumblebee looks 100% in-game accurate where the original 2010 WFC Bumblebee vehichle from looks like an afterthought (shown on the image). Final thoughts about Studio Series Gamer Edition Bumblebee: Despite what some people say about his "belly" he is THE BEST wfc bumblebee figure I've ever bought, I could even say that this an Upgraded version to the original 2010 WFC figure. If you want a War for Cybertron bumblebee figure that looks 100% accurate in-game, both in robot and vehicle mode and can also do dynamic poses. BUY THIS FIGURE. However if you want him to have ankle movement, just mistransform the legs and you should be good. Added personal note: The chest of the new WFC Bumblebee did bother me before it was released and now when I got it in-hand he looks much better than I previously expected. Plus his chest reminds me of legacy bulkheads chest which to be honest, doesn't look terrible or bother me THAT much (shown on the image).

If your a big fan of the games WFC or FFC then this is the figure for you, but if your just the causal Bee fan that wants a good update to the OG 2010 release (or just wasn't able to get that one) then it's still worth the money for it. Yah I've seen/ heard from other sources that the figure is a little lack luster but it's all really based on oppion " you either love it or you hate it". The vehicle mode is spot on with the in-game counterpart and goes perfectly with the new Gamer series figs that have come out or ( if you still have the OG ones) good with those too. For me personally I never owned either of the games but have watched some gameplay of it in the past and it still makes for a good update to the 2010 WFC figure. Now all we have to do is figure out how we can slim him down there cause ooh boy does he have a beer belly ( JK's).
