TISSUE BOXI had previously bought the White Umbra casa Tissue cover and found it quite charming, but seeing it it as a blank slate I couldn't help but start to think of ways to customize my little house. The house works super well and was perfectly cute by its self before adding decoration tape. It fits your average tissue box perfectly and creates the illusion of a puff of smoke emerging from the chimney, tissues pull out with little to no resistance so you don't need to worry about taking the box with you when you go to grab a piece. I found designs of washi tape that really appealed to me and decided to decorate the tissue cover. It worked fantastically! Here I used skinny washi tape as a boarder between the roof and main shape of the house and larger washi tape for the large areas. It worked brilliantly.IMPORTANT NOTEPlease note that washi tape is not very sticky, I could compare it to the tackiness of a post it note. Its perfect for temporary decor or for journals and scrap books, I could also see this working swell on lockers and mirrors. It worked really well in over lapping layers and for my purpose, I followed up by reinforcing the ends of the tape with clear masking tape (I imagine packing tape would work just as well or better for clarity).Over all they are both great products with a lot of creative potential!

Do not buy! This is what I received and I am not able to return it. This looks NOTHING like the picture and even worse, the quality is terrible. The rollers are less than a quarter inch wide.

There must have been some sort of mistake, or else I was duped! The product I received is very much NOT what was expected. Instead of 6 rolls of 15mm wide washi tape, I received more like 37 rolls of 3mm wide washi tape. Only 14-15 of which had any kind of gold foil on it. Most of the rolls were maroon or black. I requested a return immediately and will be dropping off this horrible product at the closest UPS store when it opens in the morning.

Alright, here's the break down.The patterns are absolutely gorgeous, make no mistake. The gold is beautiful under light. I love them, but I'm here to address some of the downsides of these tapes and what kinds of things it's suited for.First of all, there is no problem with the stickiness. These tapes hold well to paper and flat surfaces. The problem with the tapes coming off of rounded edges or non-paper surfaces is the fact that it's a lot stiffer than other washi tapes. It doesn't like to curve much, so stick to paper.Second of all, there's not much of the actual product. For the price you're paying, it's acceptable - but if you plan on going full out patterning with tape, you're going to need 2-3 orders of these.Third of all, I know as an artist, I'm concerned about how see-through the tape is, and if the pattern shows up nicely. The white areas of the tape are slightly see-through, so there's no problem in seeing lines beneath the tape if you need to use an exacto to trace it out. The pattern holds strong, and it isn't faded like other cheap washi tapes from daiso.All this being said, these tapes would work great for blocking out patterns for illustrations. Don't try to use them on 3D objects, it's not suited for that.TL;DR it's a high quality product for a low price, but in a small quantity. I would order these again once i run out.

Since I ordered off of prime, they got delivered soon. They definitely looked good. They add that extra something to my journal but the problem is that they are good for masking the mistakes and highlight. But some of them do not stick to the paper as expected, they came off after some time. However, it only happened with one of the tapes and the other 5 tapes are pretty good.

They're definitely pretty, as you can see from the clip posted by someone. I have found them to be not very sticky, even by washi standards. Biggest issue for me is that they're not writable. Since they didn't claim to be writable, I only took one star off in the end.

These tapes are just right. They're pretty, they're sticky without being TOO sticky - so they're easy to peel up and restick if I put them in the wrong place but they still stick wherever I end up putting them - and they were a great price for the pack of 6. I'd buy again or buy more tapes from the same brand. I use washi tapes most often in my Happy Planner.
