These are nice and bright, exactly what I needed over my kitchen sink and counter. keep in mind that these are not direct replacement for fluorescent T8's. You must bypass or remove the ballast from your fluorescent fixture circuit. Once you have disconnected the ballast ( I removed mine completely), connect the hot lead from your house wiring to the line going to the lamp receptacles ("tombstones") at one end, and the neutral or return to the other end. Ensure that you keep the ground wire connected to the fixture chassis. I did this in less than 10 minutes, and probably could have done it more quickly had I not had to work by flashlight. I would recommend these lamps, but if you don't feel confident doing the rewiring, I would say search for a direct replacement lamp. There are several manufacturers that make those, and I have some in other locations in the house.

Replaced all my light with these and it sure makes a difference in brightness. These bulbs can be used with a ballast or wire to bypass the ballast. I choose to remove all the ballast and wire them directly to save more money. I found out that ballast even though the lights are off still draws AC.

Light works fine, but don't be fooled by the picture. You're buying one tube, not two like the photo shows. Very deceitful sales practice.
