It’s a great product but I had to return it as it didn’t fit my equipment

It probably works in most cases
But it won’t work for screens that draw the power through the cable (AR glasses that use USB C for power and picture) there is a chance that was just down to the hdmi to usb c cable, though. Either way that was why I bought it, so straight to the junk drawer

HDMI Great. Gets very warm when charging
Gets pretty hot when using power. Not happy using it. HDMI part works very well actually but the heat means it has to get a 1 star

Worked first time, once I rebooted the iPad. I iPad may have to link in a new programme for the extra screen. Ver pleased with the result.

Input Lag
Originally brought this to play games using a controller onto the TV, but unfortunately there is a noticeable input lag from the controller to the screen, including actually using the iPad. (Even with game mode) Additionaly the quality on the TV is not great, not very sharp visual. Tested on LG 4k TV. Might be suitable to watch some videos
