its petroleum jelly .. Vaseline... its great for super dry patches of skin, chapped lips, cuts, etc. i dont know how else to describe the product but good price, i think my local store had it a bit cheaper but the convenience of delivery is worth it.

After ordering the popular name brand version 3 times, and receiving unsealed, used and grainy batches, I'd given up on being able to find and use petroleum jelly anymore. But I saw this option and took a chance. I'm glad I did as it's not bad.It came in a shrink wrapped 3-pack but the individual jars also have no safety seal, which is odd. But each one is brand new and has the classic smell, without the bizarre grainy feel the name brand seems to have now.My sole complaint, aside from the lack of a seal, is that it's a bit thin once applied and doesn't last on the skin as long as petroleum jelly usually would. Living where the winters are very cold and very dry, using this on the skin has been a winter staple all my life so I know how long it should usually keep the skin protected and hydrated. This doesn't substitute for the old classic with a perfect likeness, but it's inexpensive, clean and close enough, I suppose.

This is a great alternative to Vaseline. The only notable difference is that it is less thick and less sticky, which I actually don’t mind. For example, if I put vaseline on my face at night, when I wake up in the morning, there’s still some there. But this brand gets fully absorbed over time. I’m using it for skin care after having the Clear and Brilliant laser and it seems to be working great so far. No breakouts or complaints. My skin is starting to feel softer and doesn’t feel greasy.

This is the same plain petroleum jelly as the name brand. Unscented, and as expected. The large size is nice since I use tons of this stuff for lip care due to allergies with commercial lip balms. This keeps my lips moisturized and is just as effective as the name brand.

Needed vaseline, found this product, it is just as good, but cheaper.
