Super easy install, Glass hatch works again!
I watched a 10 minute video of a guy taking the whole door apart?If you look at the switch, and LIGHTLY pry the side facing the PASSENGER side of the car, it pops right out, took 30 seconds to replace. Lot of corrosion on the factory switch. Just a bad spot where lots of water can get.Do a 3 hundred dollar dealer job for pennies and do it in 30 seconds!Excellent! Saved so much, same super fast!

this switch was a perfect replacement for my liftgate switch on a 13 escape. took 5 min 2 replace. dealer wanted $42 employee price, got this for half that. have used dorman before and would highly recommend.

Loose fit and cheap clasp
Switch fit my Escape but it was loose and the clasp broke when removing it. A cheaper version for better.

Great part for the price
I hear from people that you shouldn't buy auto parts from Amazon, common sense would tell you to stay with name brands and that's what I do. Local auto parts stores wanted thrice what I bought this for on here and it fixed my issue. Also, it still has the same warranty that you would get from (your parts store of choice) due to Amazon following the manufacturers warranty. Just got to wait for it.

Does NOT fit 2017 Ford F150
Website states part fits 2017 F150 left is the Ford switch. right is the Dorman switch. Picture taken in pickup truck bed where the switch gets installed. Total stinks Amazon can't list the correct information.

Fixed Ford Cargo Light Turning On/Off by itself
Fixed Ford Cargo Light Turning On/Off by itself2020 F150 cargo light would turn on at night by itself and cycle on and off. It was the switch in the cargo area next to the tailgate. When I removed the old switch it was soaked in water, not sure how but the replacement fixed it. Now I can turn the light on and off on the dash also as it stopped due to this switch as well.

Works as intended
Almost same quality as the original component on my car, only difference this one is almost 100% plastic and the original the button has a rubber layer, works perfectly so far
