Great dual sport mirrors!
Contrary to what several other reviewers posted, these Ken Sean mirrors are NOT the same as the Emgo mirrors. Yes, they look the same, but there is one MAJOR DIFFERENCE: The Ken Sean mirrors are convex , and the Emgo have cheap flat glass. What this means is that the flat gass in the Emgo mirrors gives you a very narrow field of view. "normal" motorcycle mirrors are convex, to give you a decent field of view. Spend the extra $2 and get the Ken Sean mirrors, they allow you to see much better than the Emgo... and seeing behind you is the whole point of having a mirror anyway.I love the adjustability and ease of folding. They are great for a dual sport bike that you ride on the street and still want to be able to take into the woods. I installed them on a DR650, and I can see behind me great. They dont vibrate too much at highway speed either. Plus, the price cant be beat!

Both mirrors came with the #4 lock nut seized - I tried to unlock both and went as far as putting one in a vice to provide leverage to try and pop this loose - they're going back for a replacement as I'm willing to give them another try.If okay second time round I'll alter my review - for what it's worth they look well made.Well, I gave them a second chance - one nut loosened the other was the same as before. You get what you pay for - including $7 to return them.Stay clear.

Seems fine. Fits my xr650l
Seems fine. Fits my xr650l. Many confusing locknuts, but the instructions make sense and the rubber boot covers them up. The shape and size is similar to my oem mirrors, which is good. One thing: this is only one mirror. I missed that when I ordered, and for the price maybe I should have known. Ordered another one for the other side.

Great fit and finish
I’m replacing the stock factory mirrors on a 2008 DRZ400s, which on mine are both right hand threads, these mirrors are multifaceted with ability to fold down out of the way yet also give great view beyond your shoulders, unlike the factory stock ones show your arm and shoulders. These don’t shake or vibrate even on washboard gravel roads. Would buy these again if need be and wish I had bought these years ago.

Looks and works well IF it fits. Universal fit is not so Universal.
Build quality and functionality exceeds OEM on my '09 KLX250SF, unfortunately the Universal fit isn't quite so universal. The thread pattern does not match that of the factory mirror on the Kawasaki. If you can verify fit, I would recommend. The stock bars on both the '09-'15 S-Dual Sport and SF-Super Moto (and presumably the EFI equipped D-Tracker available in some markets) are already crowded, and once farkled up for regular use with bark busters, GPS or roll chart, and additional controls real estate becomes scarce. After one too many adventures I was left with no right hand mirror and an over due inspection, I ordered the Ken Sean as a cheaper alternative to the excellent Ram Mount options and with the added bonus of hopefully using the stock mounts. The English translations on the single page manual left much to be desired, and the unit comes set up for left side installation. After deciphering the manual, gathering the required tools (Wrench, Channellock pliers, & Phillips screw driver)- which are not listed at the top but only in the steps where they are needed - I set up the mirror for right side use. Once reassembled and after removing the broken factory mirror I discovered much to my chagrin that although the OEM and KS replacement mirror stems were the same diameter their threads were entirely different and there was no way to use the factory mounting hardware. With the Ken Sean 970510 not including its own mounting hardware and the primary reason for selecting it was the OEM mounting hardware compatibility I was left with no option but to return it.TL;DR: Looks and functions well but is not compatible with the Kwasaki KLX 09'-'15 right side mounting hardware.

Very nice mirror
Very nice mirror. It can go on either side unless your mount has left hand threads. It's well designed such that it can be rotated out of the way when you are riding off road. The ball clamping nut can be adjusted so that the mirror stays firmly in place or allow the mirror to be adjusted. On my DR350 the image is clear unless I have the bike reved. I ordered a second one to replace the flimsy plastic mirror that came with my street legal kit. The mirror is slightly convex so you get a good view of all that's behind you.
