Mundial 5" Craft Scissors, Set of 12 Scissors (3 Sets of 4 Designs)

Although cheap, for a company that makes scissors, I expected better quality i.e. sharp and precise blades. These scissors look good: they are a good (not fiddly) size with decent handles, nice packaging and what appear to be decent blades. HOWEVER, they are not good for cutting card, and I cannot see why they might be used for paper, unless making fancy paper chains or similar. As I’m using to make greeting cards, my review is based on that.The ‘beginning’ of the scissors cut better than the ends. Maybe I’m not using them correctly, but it is difficult to get a precise pattern - the ‘Victorian’ design, for example, does not look like it’s supposed to after you go over it several times! The ‘wavy’ one is slightly better because this is a chunkier pattern, but again, it is not exact.Verdict: Had a frustrating time trying to make handmade cards. Thankfully they are only for friends and family: sending to clients or such would definitely put into question my attention to detail as it is difficult to get precise patterns. But I suppose I shouldn’t complain too much about £6 including delivery for 12 pairs of scissors which equate to 50p per pair. Okay for occasional use. Will keep a set and donate the rest to charity.

Sharp and accurate set of scissors. They cut really well on all types of paper and card. They are light too so they don't make your thumb ache. No good on fabric really, the basic "wavy line" pair just about cut through some thin felt, but I only wanted them for card making etc. Very quick delivery, great value for the price and with extra sets to spare they will hopefully last a very long time. Liked the fact that the pattern was shown on the top of the scissors too no rummaging about for the correct pair. Very pleased all round.

These are so nice to work with as they are light and kindly to your hands. They are just "TOP NOTCH" for me. If you want them then don't hesitate just get your order in now.

Only wanted 4 but 12 arrived will have to sort this out I think!! unless I pressed a wrong button somewhere ...... just checked no 12 pairs for £3 + p&p which brings it to £6 still excellent value, will give extra ones to local village school I am sure they are safe enough for children, the teachers will let me know anyway

Arrived within 24 hours of ordering, exactly as described, feel strong and work well when tested. When I have used them a bit more will add on to my review

Although it takes a bit of time to get the hang of these scissors, it's worth the practice. They create lovely borders for my scrapbook frames and card making projects.

The seller posted out the scissors very quickly - very impressed.The scissors themselves are good quality; easy to use; and produce a nice pattern in paper and thin card. I wanted them to make gift tags out of old Christmas cards and they have helped me to do this easily.Very happy with this purchase.
