Nice fit, super fast easy to put on
This is the perfect size and real easy to put on and take off. I was "going bare" cause the typical shoulder rest is just too much hassle to put it on and I can get by without. But this is just so easy and comfortable.

Not perfect, but meets the need.
Used product for 6-months on a full-size violin. I use this pad as my shoulder rest, because no shoulder rest was a little too wobbly for me, I use it as a wedge between the violin and my shoulder. The sticky part does loose its stickiness fast, I wash it 1-2 times a week to rejuvenate it. It does leave a residue on the violin but it mostly washes off. I once was desperate for stickiness and used a little spit - bad idea - that left major residue. (I tried to take a picture of the residue, it didn't photograph very well.)When clean, the sticky-connection-circle sticks well to the violin and to the plastic piece on the pad. It stuck so well to the plastic that it tore it off. I glued it back on a couple of times and it kept not holding. Then I tried superglue, the plastic is now firmly attached to the pad, but no longer flat; so the sticky doesn't stay attached to the pad very well now. What I do now is stick the pad to my violin where I want it, and then rubberband it to keep it from falling off. It doesn't slide around (unless I'm careless and start super-gripping the violin between shoulder and chin, but I try and avoid that in general for my long term health).I also have a red cosmetic sponge which I tried. Fantasea Extra Thick Red Cosmetic Sponge (Pack of 6) I found the red sponge slide less on bare skin while the otto pad slides less on cloth. The otto pad has less sliding on the violin. I prefer the otto pad because it is less squishy and is more effective to prevent my wobbling.

Comfortable, but low quality of adhesion
I've used this for my son. My son feel comfortable, but its adhesion is less than a month (or two months, because how many time you play. My son has two times lesson per week and almost everyday practice for a hour).

ABSOLUTELY GROUND-BREAKING
I started the violin just over 13 months ago, and I always felt at war with it. Even once I got my shoulder rest to an ideal height, I simply could not swing my arm to shift smoothly. I've even read professional accounts by career violinists of shoulder rest usage impairing shifting. Yet, using nothing at all is a non-starter when you have any form of clothing on your sleeve. This is truly groundbreaking. The forever-sticky, quarter-sized tab on the back doesn't lose its stickiness, and you can put the pad wherever you want to! I can swing my arm freely to the precise angle I want to shift effortlessly into even the absolute highest positions.Learning the violin and learning to shift doesn't have to be a war. Try this. It is truly incredible!

Worked great for 6 days...
I really liked this product, it was comfortable and allowed me to hold the violin securely with just my chin and shoulder. But on day 6, at the beginning of a rehearsal, the adhesive patch came unglued from the foam. I could still stick it on and use the pad for a bit, but then it would fall off again. If this had happened at home I probably would have been able to fix the pad by re-gluing the adhesive patch to the foam. However, by it's third launch onto the floor the adhesive had become a gritty, lint-filled blob and couldn't be salvaged.

Compact and easy to use.
This cushion is compact and easy to use. You simply remove it when finished playing for the day, and reattach it next time.

Affordable and durable!
This pad really is "magic"! I have used this for a while now and I've found that it's better then any shoulder rest that I've used. It's easily adaptable depending on ones body figure. I use it close to the bottom of back of my violin, while other students tend to place there's a few inches away from the bottom of the instrument. All of my students I have found can use and prefer this to a regular shoulder rest. It's affordable and durable. I would recommend trying this before purchasing any expensive shoulder rest. The adhesive really does last- I still have my original violin pad.
