This works as well as could be expected as grip tape, but it is misleading to describe it as “clear” and “transparent.” At best I would call it “opaque.” It is more white than clear (see my pic of my solid black board with a red logo). It also came rolled into a 1” diameter tube, causing a lot of wrinkles and resulted in bubbles when applied. Next time I’ll just go with plain black grip tape.

A LOT grippier than I thought. I figured it would be like the grip tape I see on typical longboards, that are almost like a bit of chunky salt on the board.Nope, this is like the tape was dipped in a barrel of sugar. It's rough on the hands to touch, like before you drop your board to start off riding.My thumb wouldn't work for the thumb-reader on my iPhone until it healed a few days later. Going to scrap the deck I put this on and try again.

Purchased this to apply it to a retro 80s vision psycho stick. It was the perfect width and had about an extra foot in length. Easy to apply. Has multiple small air bubbles which I expected. Probably user error but I also think it's almost impossible to apply the tape without getting some bubbling. They are more noticible with clear grip tape.

Perfectly clear, good grip. Everything I could want in a clear longboard grip tape.

Really clear. Good if you want to show off the top of your deck. Wears out super quick. Not even 4 hours on the board and I have a flat spot where my front foot sits.

Great grip, pretty rough without being overly aggressive. Fairly transparent allowing you to show top deck graphic, but is a little opaque (not totally clear). Stickyness of underside was pretty firm so get the placement right first time as lifting to correct is difficult. Large piece, so some bubbling might happen.
