Yes you should be able to with it being sticky it will stick to itself and double the thickness

i used it on my comp , & i haven't had any problems with dust. just be sure to seal it tight when using it. Darlene.

I believe so; we used this to fill a gap around our door. The intent was to keep the cold air from coming in during the winter months, but it works to seal the gap, preventing anything from coming in/out (air, bugs, etc.).
