I gave this book the highest rating possible because it is a "Must Read" National Best Seller, and because, if you already know the "potential" of Network Marketing, in this book you will discover: 1) How wealth is actually created; 2) The psychology of "Personal Success"; 3) How to change the way you were taught to think during K to 12th Grade, and even in completing a college degree, to "How to think and live as an "Entreprenuer"; 4) How to effectively Lead a Downline; 5) How to set "realistic" financial expectations; 6) How to "take charge of your own life and financial future"; 7) And How to Succeed at Network Marketing. This is a very practical guide to how to master the art of Network Marketing, one of the most powerful business models in the market place today. You can no longer afford to be uneducated. Network Marketing is a relatively new Business Model that has continued to evolve, and this book leads you to guides and insights that take you through the process of learning how to become a successful Entreprenuer. The best part about reading this Best Seller, is that Dr. Tom Barrett, has already written another book to follow this one providing new guidelines and insights, taking up where he left off, in another must read book titled, "Success Happens! Let if Happen to You in Network Marketing". Both books go together as a set. You will want to read this one first.

I've read a number of network marketing books since I added a complementary network marketing business to my coaching business 2 1/2 years ago. This is hands down my favorite! Even though it was written 12 years ago, it's still a valuable resource that I wish I'd know about when I first started in this business. I like the practical information in helping people understand the value of network marketing, creating new ways of thinking, being realistic about financial expectation, getting out of their own way psychologically, and understanding the leadership role.I recommend that every one of my business representatives read this book too. I'm now reading Barrett's next book, Success Happens! It appears to be just as valuable as this one.

Dr. Tom Barrett wrote one of the best books and if you are wanting to become more successful in all aspects of your life, than you’ll want to read, study and apply the principles that are in this book. There are several key components that are taught in this book.1. How wealth is actually created2. The psychology of personal success3. How to think and live as an entrepreneur4. How to effectively lead a downline5. How to set realistic financial expectations6. How to take charge of your life and future7. How to succeed in network marketing.The reason that I purchased this book was because I wanted to do the things that I needed too, to move my life forward and to have success in what I was doing. If you want to truly understand how wealth is created especially using social media and other network marketing, then I highly recommend this book to anyone! I definitely give this book and author 5 stars. Incredible book!

This book / CD series is very helpful providing a realistic outlook on Network Marketing, and the huge potential it provides. It also provides great practicals on growing your network marketing business to where you'd like it to be.

Tom Barrett is definitely an expert in the field of network marketing. His down to earth approach is very applicable to the average person looking to make a difference in their lives through the means of a network marketing business. He understands the ups and downs of the business and provides easy to understand explanations and solutions to get you through and over the hump. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking to succeed in network marketing.

Hands down the BEST book I have ever read in regards to growing a business. Dr. Barrett provided many mirrors throughout this book, in which I was forced to ask myself honest questions about my own efforts in my business. This was such an easy and relevant read. My highlighter certainly was getting much use and I was writing lists and to-do's that I plan to implement into my own business immediately! For the first time this year I once again feel hope!I will most certainly be recommending this book to my team!

This book has completely changed how I look at my business. It has given me insight into how to get beyond the rejections that come with network marketing and push forward to achieve the goals I know I can with my business! Awesome inspiration and wisdom in this little book! Easy reading, powerful message. Love it!

I own my own Arbonne business and have read many books on network marketing, but this book blew me away! It's so good that I'm reading it for the second time in just a week. It has such valuable information even if you are just considering network marketing and for sure if you already own your own business! This is a must read!

Great book on Network Marketing.

This is a great no-nonsense book which tells you calmly how to succeed in your MLM business. When you first start as a distributor, there is an abundance of information from uplines and other distributors and you are encouraged to get started as soon as possible - this book doesn't dispute that but reminds you that pack-horses last longer than race-horses and tells you how to focus your business to be the best pack-horse you can be. I'm glad I read it early on in my business as it's stopped me from panicking that two months in, I'm not about to retire on my MLM profits!
