Kato 11-106 Shorty Bogie Chassis

Just for use with B Train Shorty kits. Very good performance, goes round Kato's sharpest radius curves (approx 4.5") at realistic tram speeds. I've just got back in to modelling, and I|'m making a \pizza style 2 level tram micro layout. the \b train shorty trams/light rail models are just right. I'll be buying more of these in a while.

Fantastic little chassis! Nice and cheap and runs pretty smoothly. To be turned into a Pechot Bourdon 009 locomotive with a scratch built body (the wheelbase is exactly the same). The motor and driven bogie (one is driven and collects power, one only collects power) can be removed relatively easily with a small screwdriver and can both can be used as donor parts for a different loco if need be.

It's worth pointing out that only one of the bogies has traction, the other is just for pickup, so this limits the pulling power, but at the price, it's a good item.

Usual Kato good standard - got loads

I built my own coaches and inserted the Kato chassis into my driving coach. I removed the one truck from the unit as it was too short for my coach.After some reconnecting I fitted the unit and i am very satisfied with its performance.I feel Kato should make a longer version or one that can be etended

Delivery within stated period and well packed.Chassis runs quiet and smooth but make sure you operate it on just a straight DC supply rather than a feedback controller which will cause erratic and noisy operation. Great value for use as kit built 009 motive power.

This is the second one of these I've bought & they are excellent.Will definitely buy more.

Works great! First model train I’ve gotten that has a motor so I can pull the little cars I’ve collected :) (used a 9 volt battery hooked up to tracks and I have zero complaints!)

ボンネットタイプ481系雷鳥12両編成の為に2つ購入。 下記載の用に2M10Tで使用してます ←進行方向 ←T-M-T-T-M-T-T-T-T-T-T-T が、バンダイ製より静か、スピードも出て尚且つ低速走行も安定しています。 今までも旧国鉄車両や、台車の形状が似ている車両において使用してますが、耐久性も悪くなく、今まで壊れた等もありません。モーターが熱くなる？もさほど気になりません。 これからは台車レリーフを捨ててでも使用しようと思います。
