This pure beeswax candle has been scented with ylang ylang essential oil. Ylang Ylang EO is a unique, pleasant scent (though not for everyone.) It's floral with hints of jasmine and neroli but has notes of musk and bitterness. Ylang Ylang is a bit eclectic, about half of the population will like it and others will hate it. So you might want to test it locally where essential oils are sold, to see if you like it. Typically people who like lavender will not like ylang ylang and vice versa. Take pride in the fact that you know exactly what you're breathing in with this candle. The beeswax is a natural dark yellow. This is a 6oz glass tureen with a burn time of 40 or more hours. As the beeswax candles cool, they crack and develop large air filled holes within if not properly double poured. So you can rest assured you are getting candle free of these defects. Occasionally long after cooling a small surface crack occurs but this is normal, as is random pour design along the glass. Our beeswax is locally harvested in a cruelty free environment. The bees are not subjected to smoke or other chemicals, as the wax and honey are carefully harvested by a person in a bee-suit.
