Soaked parts from an old sxs that I picked up to try and bring it back to life. The rust came off easily and I did not have to sand or file hardly anything except for some spots that had deep pitting. Just super fine steel wool and a copper penny in spots, no wire wheel needed. Very impressed and this made cleaning a 150 year old gun a breeze. Was not worried about removing any remaining bluing as the parts would be getting re-blued anyway. Highly recommend

Thus solution works much better than expected. Had an old pair of pliers that were accidentally left outside and had rusted shut. Soaked it in a pan filled with this solution overnight and it really worked! The rust dissolved and the pliers were no longer rusted shut. They weren’t “shiny” raw metal but very acceptable.

Burns through gas tank rust like a champ. Everything you see rust wise was gone.

This product does seem to work but requires a little more 'elbow grease' then I feel is advertised. I have used it several times to remove rust from smaller tools, hinges, drawer knobs, and a few other things. (I even tried old pennies). Overall I can say I am happy with the product but to really get the most rust off, I have to soak the metal overnight in solution that has not be diluted and then have to take a brush or scoring pad to get the rust off. Pending upon the layer of rust, I sometimes have to do a second soak. So, just keep in mind, it isn't really a simple soak and rinse to remove rust. Some 'elbow grease; is required. Also, I have not had the best luck when diluting the solution.

Pleased with this product. I purchased an old rusted motor bike and this stuff saved some of the parts.

Works great! I inherited an old black powder side by side 12ga shotgun that was in pretty bad shape to say the least. I soaked the barrel for 24hrs. Pulled it out of the solution, rinsed it off, got about 90+% of the rust off the barrel. Re-soaked it in the same solution for another 24hrs and it got the rest of the rust off. This product is very good, not perfect but very good. Used a small wire brush to get to the hard to reach places but over all the product worked very well. Worth the money.

THIS STUFF IS GREAT--I PUT ABOUT 1/2 A BOTTLE IN A FUEL TANK FROM A TILLER LET IT SOAK OVERNIGHT AND THE TANK LOOKS LIKE NEW INSIDE. TOOK THE PORTION USED IN THE TANK POURED INTO A PLASTIC BASIN AND SOAKED SEVERAL OF MY TOOLS --SAME GREAT RESULTS. ADVISES TO DILUTE WITH WATER I USED IT FULL STRENGTH. I'M SURE IT WILL WORK GREAT EITHER WAY. JUST RE-ORDERED ANOTHER BOTTLE TO HAVE ON HAND IN MY SMALL ENGINE SHOP .
