Two Summers: The Mercedes-Benz W196R Racing Car - Limited Edition of 1500 Copies

Somehow I expected more from this book bearing in mind the high recommended price. Luckily I paid a reasonable figure through Amazon Marketplace. I found the layout wanting and the prose rather lumpy. I was also put off by a glaring captioning error below a shot showing Fangio in the car at full concentration but described as being Moss! I did like the photos though.

Excellent book - still in original celophane!

Brilliant pictorial look at the era of those fabulous cars. The prose gives a real insight into the era also. Must have book on this era and those beautiful cars.
