This is a refill pod for the Bloom Cream which is genius! I noticed a change right away after starting this Beekman Bloom Cream in the spring. It’s gentle and very moisturizing without being greasy or heavy. I feel like it’s changed the texture and feel of my face. I use morning and night. Highly recommend!

Please understand this is a refill pod, not the original container with the cream. If you are bothered by that but don't want to buy the original container, get a clean cosmetics jar from a natural foods store, sanitize it and move your cream to that. If you do that though, please do yourself a favor and use a small spatula that you clean regularly to take the cream out of the container, so you don't contaminate and spoil it.Onto the actual cream - a big part of the reason skin starts to "wane" as we age is because the skin barrier gets broken down and the damage largely goes unrepaired. Very few of us eat enough and high quality enough food to supply all we need through that (or even take in enough by way of supplements). Think of this cream as a topical supplement - you put it on your skin, your skin takes what it needs, it becomes healthier, and consequently you look better. To that end, I specifically want to call out goat milk (closest in composition to human milk), colostrum, bifida ferment lysate, honey, zinc stearate, niacinamide - all of these are skin barrier building ingredients (and some have other qualities as well). This is a first-rate cream and worth the money.I also want to point out that this product is made in the USA.

The farm came with a herd of goats, which sparked the inspiration for their skincare line.Beekman 1802 is known for its emphasis on goat milk as a key ingredient in their skincare products. They highlight the natural and gentle properties of goat milk for sensitive skin. The Bloom Cream is one of their most successful products.What I received is a Refill Pod for the Bloom Cream Container. Though I do love this Bloom Cream for its silky moisturizing properties, I don’t love the refill pod. And by that I mean the physical properties of the container that the cream comes in. It’s a thin, bare white plastic “pod,” with a peel-off, foil top — that looks a lot like a yogurt. Once you peel off that top, you’ll never be able to put it back on.I would’ve been fine with the pod’s bare white container, if only they had given me a lid, an actual plastic cap that I could screw and unscrew onto the refill pod, or even a plastic cap that would snap off and on.What if my empty bloom container — for which I ordered the refill — has been damaged before the refill arrived? Or been thrown away, since I ordered the refill pod? All I’d have is a bare white plastic jar with a foil top, and no way to seal my bloom cream.

I absolutely love this cream. It is amazing stuff and very effective on my combination skin. It feels lovely once applied and my skin is smooth and hydrated.This is one of my favorite moisturizers because it causes no irritation and actually works well.There is no apparent scent which I appreciate since I think scents are a personal preference and not everyone likes the same scent.Value wise this is pricier than I'd usually pay but if you are going to spend this amount then I do recommend this one. I have ordered a moisturizer in the past which was pricier but not nearly as beneficial for my skin.

The reviews complaining about the packaging - it's a refill! Of course it has basic packaging - if you didn't have an empty bottle you'd order the normal product. I actually like it when companies offer this. Better for my wallet and the environment. Lotion is lovely although I would have loved a scented one personally. Not overly sticky.

Beekman 1802 products are pricey but are also thoughtfully formulated. This has ingredients that skin loves like soothing botanicals and niacinamide, and it features goat milk, which has both lactic acid and fatty acids to moisturize, protect, and repair skin.I find that lactic acid products really help my sensitive, reactive skin, and the scent from the botanicals in this is light enough that I am not bothered (a lot of scented products make me sneeze and/or irritate my skin). This is a cream that absorbs well and doesn't leave a residue, so it's easy to incorporate into my AM and PM routine.This is refill packaging, so do NOT buy it unless you either have the larger size original Beekman container or another suitable container (like an airless pump container) that you can transfer the cream to.
