Exactly what we needed
I love that these are just a basic call/text mom and dad with no other nonsense. I got two of these watches, for my 9 and 7 year old daughters. With school, field trips and soccer practices, other extracurriculars, birthday parties, family sleepovers, etc, I wanted them to have a way to get ahold of us if they ever needed to. The call quality is good, sometimes it can be hard to hear if the wind is bad or there is a lot of background noise. They enjoy running on the track while I am with their little brother at his soccer practice, it’s at the same location but on the other side of the fields. So when they call from the open track with the wind, it is harder to hear what they are saying but it isn’t like I can’t hear at all. I do wish there was talk to text as my 7 year old doesn’t know how to spell a lot of things yet so for now she uses voice messages mostly. I really appreciate, much to the dislike of my 7 year old, that these don’t have any games and it is basic, so it limits distractions and not another screen I have to monitor. School mode was extremely easy to set up, and I love that they can still get ahold of me and dad in school mode, and it just blocks everyone else on the approved contact list. I am able to put timed reminders on specific days for soccer practices to help them get ready on time without argument which has been fantastic. GPS has been great. I can see where they are at in school when they are able to hide it on themselves (arguing with principal and teachers that these are not smartwatches especially when in school mode) most of the time they have to put it in their bookbag but put it on before they get on the bus ride home. My oldest accidentally swam with hers for a few minutes, I know it says water resistant but I don’t really want to test that out just yet, but it’s worked just fine since so I’m very happy with that. The step counter isn’t accurate, they will walk around swinging their arms and it will still show 0 steps so they’ve been upset about that but I’m not too worried about it as that isn’t the reason I bought them. The CEO was very helpful on Reddit with responding to questions and got back to me very quick about my contact names question. You have to put in a first and last and while for aunt/uncle that’s easy but mom and dad it’s not. He got back to me within hours and let me know he let his team know this and that you can use an emoji for the last name so that made it fun to choose one for everybody who needed it. Overall these watches have been great, have given me a sense of peace and given my girls a sense of independence.

Not a reliable GPS watch, MAJOR flaws!
We were very excited to get the Cosmo JrTrack3 as a replacement for an Xplora watch for our daughter after seeing the CEO interacting here on Reddit and seemingly great features and customer service. Setup went very smoothly, our daughter liked the interface and we liked being able to text instead of using a proprietary app. That's where the good ended and the problems began.1. You can't call google voice numbers from the watch. It appears on the watch as if the call is just ringing through but the phone never actually rings on the other end. I contacted customer support and they verified that you cannot call GV numbers from the watch.2. Battery life. he Cosmo JrTrack3 was dead by 9pm each night.3. GPS. The very first day my daughter wore it to school the location didn't update all day. Support said it was because WiFi was not turned on on the watch. Hrmm...okay... That evening I turning wifi on and the next day it appeared to be updating normally and all was well, except it wasn't. Next day, no GPS updates again, wifi was turned on, in a good service area with both more than adequate cell signal and wifi. Out of 6 days of using the watch all day every day only 2 of those days the GPS has updated with even close to any kind of normal frequency. We tried ALL the settings available to us and nothing changed.4. Changing school mode (turning it off/on from parent app) does not update on the watch until a reset it appearsBottom line. This watch does not provide the basic functionality that people buy kids GPS watches for.

Great product
I bought this for my husband who has early stage dementia. It has been amazing.Pros: 1. He can hear this watch call alert, and therefore answers quickly! With his mobile phone it would "ring" and "ring", and he didn't hear it, so I couldn't get ahold of him.2. It is easy for him to operate. He has no trouble taking a call. With his phone, he couldn't get the swipe just right for it to pick up the call, again, thereby missing my calls.3. I love the live tracking feature, it refreshes every minute. This puts me at ease when my husband is out walking.4. I was hesitant to purchase any type of mobile call and GPS watch, because I was afraid of getting locked in a contract with service not available. Our phones did not work in our apartment after we moved from 3rd floor down to 1st floor! I am so relieved, that Cosmo works just fine!5. I love the fact that there is no Facebook, or games, etc. They just became too much for my husband, on the phone. This is simple, dependable, and just what he needed. He likes the icons because they clearly show what they are for, what they do!He likes the return button, on the side of the phone, making it so easy to return to the previous screen.6. The set up for this watch and the app was easy.7. There is excellent customer service. I received an email asking how it was going, and I didn't even have any problems!Con: The only con, is that sometimes the call is muffled, but this is because he has the phone too close to his mouth, which is absolutely no fault of the watch or service! It is just due to his dementia.
