I have dry damaged hair and when I use this and straighten my hair it comes out soft and smooth. I live in high humidity and it does great with it !

Realmente no me gusto

I have, probably, type 2C hair, which is loose curls with a good amount of frizz. I also just took a work trip into a hot and dry part of the country, which was not great for my hair. This hair mask comes in a tub, since it’s probably a bit thick to go into a squeezy or pump bottle. The directions say to towel-dry hair and then apply it to the middle and ends of your hair, wait 10-15 minutes, then rinse. Well, I wasn’t about to dry off and sit there cold for 15 minutes, then go back and rinse, so I simply applied it and waited a minute or two while still in the shower. I did wring out my hair as much as I could without actually stepping out of the shower. Effectively, I used it like I would use a heavy conditioner. That said, I do think it moisturized my damaged ends nicely. They feel much healthier this morning. My hair has not been colored in years but because I’m outdoors a lot I have to shower daily and that is not ideal for my hair type. So products for colored hair tend to work well for my hair’s needs, and this claims to be a product for color-treated hair. I do think the labeling and directions are a bit funky and this could be pointed out. They mention collagen but there is no mention of collagen as an ingredient. (This might be good news for vegetarians, since collagen is animal-sourced generally.) It also says it can relax a tense scalp, but does not tell you to apply the hair mask onto the scalp at all. I put a little on the crown only because I get some frizz and wiry hair texturing up at the crown. So, overall, they need to decide what they want to claim and how that fits into the directions for use. I am also not a huge fan of the scent, but I am sensitive to anything that is not an actual fruit or nut scent. I would’ve preferred unscented or maybe a coconut scent. I’ll still use the product, maybe not daily, because the scent does wear off and this is saving me the need to book a haircut at least for the time being, but I do recommend replacing or omitting the perfume and clarifying the directions for use. And if you have Type 2 hair I would not bother leaving it on for 10 or 15 minutes. Maybe if you have Type 4 hair you can.
