Excellent marker for steel
I gave up on metal marking pencils and really don't need the accuracy of a scribe and thought I'd give these a try. I was NOT disappointed. They work great leave lines that are easy to see and dries very quickly. If you need a very thin line then use a scribe. These work best for marking steel for cutting where you have a little (maybe a 32nd inch) tolerance. If you need more accuracy than that a scribe, as mentioned, may be a better option. But for most of us that cut and weld steel or other metals in a ranch environment doing repairs and fabrication these are great. I also like that you can see the marks through my welding hood before it auto dims. Nice product and a fair price. Thanks!

Found out about them via Mike Rowe of dirty jobs.
SO i took his advice and got a pack of them. Also pursuing trades due to his insistence (after retiring of course, too long story for here). It is true what he says, they have a hard tip and withstand punishment. I am using them in welding and they mark iron very well, visible under the hood. Solid paint pen/marker and awesome clip. A Family operation MADE IN THE USA. fuggedaboutit. Do IT. Maybe i’ll throw pics up sometime. If not, get these markers.

Worked well on most materials.
Used on steel and masonry/concrete, not as messy as a valve action paint pen. The tip is holding up pretty well considering the material I am using it on. I don’t find the cap clip that useful using it in a safety vest.

At last: One that works
Looking for something to mark my steel cutoffs for some time. Really like these as they work as advertised. Good product. Thank You!

Good maker but fatter than I wanted
The maker does a nice job of marking on dark woods and is opaque enough that it shows well. But the point is too broad for my needs where I was trying to mark layout lines on walnut.

Definitely not "industrial"
Pretty useless markers. Little more than a glorified highlighter. The cap is very cumbersome to work with even when clipped to your shirt pocket. They are marketed as "industrial" but after some light use, the marker totally failed. It simply doesn't put out enough ink. I bought these to use for marking concrete and metal. I understand that they might not be made for that but still an "industrial" marker should have brought a better result. A good jobsite sharpie works way better and a paint pen would be even better than that! The picture shows what it looks like on wood. This marker is on the left next to a ball point pen and a highlighter...
