Six different rock thin section image geology coasters. I have taken photographs of rock thin sections through a polarising microscope and print the images onto these glossy, vibrant and hardwearing MDF coasters, each 90mm square. They come in a cellophane bag which means they are ready (and easy!) to wrap. The rocks featured are described on the reverse of the coaster and comprise (top row, L-R then next row, L-R) : Hornblendite from Avernish, Scotland; Peridotite from Ardnamurchan, Scotland; Gabbro from Huntly, Scotland; Piemontite from St Marcel, Italy; Pyroxene from Vesuvius, Italy; Withamite from Glen Coe, Scotland. Beauriful coasters
These coasters arrived very quickly and they are beautiful. Bought as a present for my geologist husband who loves them. I would definitely recommend this product.
